I always like matching though this is the first time I’ve seen the hair to match the car.

(If you enjoy vintage cars, Scott, I recommend the Coney Island Mermaid Parade. It kicks off with a vintage car show.)

Missing the old fashioned crank style manual window opener. Oh and the shades of yellow in the photo is nice. They don’t make cars like this anymore. Modern cars now are bulky with a lot of safety features, and electronic gadgetry. Needless to say, boring.

Wow, composition that you cropped or what you got is very successful and strong. So, it almost doesn’t seem like a photograph, this one has a painterly attitude I think.. I am just keep looking at this piece.. I think that’s why I like Sartorialist’s a lot.:)

Please, please no more Viva Las Vegas, Las Vegas. It’s stylistically homogeneous, and a little went a looooong way. I’m rockabillied out.

I’m amused by the few that are annoyed by these excellent posts of Viva Las Vegas…Get out of your comfort zones – True style is timeless.

    • irtiam

      April 8, 2013 at 9:45 pm

It isn’t a comfort zone issue for me. It’s that it’s repetition of the same note over and over. But, hey, just one person’s opinion here.

        April 9, 2013 at 5:27 am

These are only a handful out of an entire years worth of photos. It’s no worse than when there’s a series of photos from the Jazz Party, or from Fashion Week or Pitti Uomo for that matter.

I think these Viva Las Vegas photos are great.

It looks like taken out of that great movie, Goodfellas (do you write it like this). The movie with Ray L. playing that guy, he was dressed just like this one, had cars like those here, and the hair was the same to!!
It’s a wonderful yellow, and wonderful photo.
