There is something totally cool about men in suits…let your eyes sink into the photograph and you could be walking right by!

March 20, 2013 at 8:10 am
RJH… Thats right, the suits are amazing, and the way they wear them its perfect.. Especially with the bottom of the pants is just barely touching the shoes, thats how pants need to always be, in Italy we say that the pant needs to KISS the SHOE
These guys are stylish with whatever they wear anyway!!!..
March 20, 2013 at 4:12 pm
Ciao Giuseppe…well,I say “kiss the men” that get the “kiss the shoe” right…today during morning rush hour,I travelled on the train into the capital, hoards of people at the station and on the train but, there were very few that got the break of the pants just right and when they did their very stylish shoes stole the show…loads of great double monk straps to be seen…there is a whole new generation of very, very stylish young gentlemen out there…they are the ones that keep the art of satorialism alive.
THE STEL STYLE

They have a cool and classic style, nice pictures
I really love this photo! At the first glance, all men in suits, very chic, and then, you notice the gentleman more trendy with no socks and shaved on both sides of the head!
March 19, 2013 at 2:12 pm
OMG. I like the fact that there’s a man with a mohawk in this photo. I thought that was a trend only in urban style. Spot on! I would love to be lucky enough to be on the street walking past these gentlemen and shaking my head at how dapper and handsome they are.

A man exploring style in middle age
I get excited every time I see you post about this. The idea is very cool and chic all at the same time! Keep it up Mr. Schuman.

March 19, 2013 at 4:53 pm
I really like the man with a half shaved head. It’s is a punk touch in a totally old style elegant quality look. Having a rock or punk detail in a ‘well-behaved’ look is totally me.
March 19, 2013 at 5:09 pm
Ma cos’è questa mania dei pantaloni così corti?? Non mi sembra affatto elegante..
March 20, 2013 at 4:10 am
When pants were so short, in The Hague we used to say: High tide in Scheveningen. Especially the gentleman with the mohawk is obviously not wearing his own clothes.
March 19, 2013 at 5:15 pm
They look absolutely cool and the moment is perfect!
March 19, 2013 at 5:40 pm
Great photo capturing so much!

Can’t wait! Can’t believe it’s already Edition III, time flies :)
March 19, 2013 at 8:38 pm
Honestly, I just see men in suits that look like they were washed in the machine and shrunk. The waists fall above the real waist and the pants are two inches too short. there are pull lines when the jackets are buttoned. Suits look old, worn, machine washed.
March 20, 2013 at 5:33 am
You are one hundred percent correct. There is a reason that the shrunken suits of the sixties went out of fashion, and that is because they were uncomfortable as all hell. It’s one thing to be incredibly tailored, but totally another to be tailored to the point of a straight jacket and codpiece.
March 19, 2013 at 8:58 pm
i know these men have great taste…better then most…but i always feel the they r bunched together it will never look time less….example Marcello Mastroianni

March 20, 2013 at 6:27 am

March 20, 2013 at 6:30 am
Ridiculous! Looks like a scene “Dictionary of Received Ideas” by Flaubert!
March 20, 2013 at 6:31 am
Every now and then you produce one of these images that feels outside time, and makes fashion feel like part of a continuum. These men have the swagger, and those variations in dress/hair etc mainly apparent to those able to interpret them (of the era) that must exist in all times. As types, these men are timeless, and you’ve shown in this picture how timeless fashion is as a way of expressing self.
The other two images of yours that spring to mind are the one of people sitting expectantly at the front row of some fashion show (has a Rembrandt feel), and another of two men – brothers? – with beautiful blackberry eyes, in France I think. It has a very dynamic feel.
Anyway, this is definitely one of my favourite shots of yours.
Great photo, however I am really starting to hate this “too short pants and no socks” look. It’s just not masculine to me. Sorry.
March 21, 2013 at 12:33 pm
I don’t like the look either, Martyna. I just think it looks a little infantile, and it makes me think of blisters–right at the spot where the Achilles tendon meets the top of the shoe.

March 20, 2013 at 8:50 am
I can’t help not to think that looking at this photo in 50 or 100 years Lino and the other gentlemen will still look elegant and classy while the gentleman in a mohawk and short pants will just look plain silly!
March 20, 2013 at 10:48 am
wow beautiful nice guys! really so much great!!
March 20, 2013 at 12:57 pm
Great photo !!!!!!!!!!! ;)
une chatte grise
March 20, 2013 at 1:27 pm
Nope, still not buying the short pants thing. (But the ridiculously attractive man with the mohawk somehow manages to make it work.)
March 20, 2013 at 1:33 pm
It’s that time again already? Wonderful! I love to see these gentlemen, all very inspiring. This is another great photograph…I especially enjoy your black and white work Scott.
