But then again… that background is so gorgeous on its own that it is distracting >:)
Normally I don’t like platforms but her shoes are absolutely wonderful for pedestrians this time of year- you can walk through puddles without sullying your hem.
I’m wondering if the red hat is handknit…in any case, it’s the star of the show in this photo with the black coat, boots. I adore the look. And I love how this photo was shot at ground level, it gives it a lot of depth and power.
She just looks like a traveler. Like she was in the middle of the road, and you stopped your car for her. Now you can give her a ride, and youll never see her again.
I love those shoes and that knapsack. She looks very travellish, a great look if you have to carry lots around with you. I love a skirt when travelling, it is so versatile, and a nice break from jeans.

Machine-made hat, definitely. But the black “repair” with crude “Xs”makes it a one-of-a-kind–whether she did it or not.
