I think Levi’s is cutting a slim non-stretch jean now.

I agree with the Levi’s suggestion, but if that doesn’t work out you could try A.P.C. or even look for old Helmut Lang jeans on ebay…

Or, you could do what I did back in the day –
Buy cheap pair of black Lee jeans. Put them on inside out and have a friend handsew them onto you. Put ‘em back on right-side-out. Voila!

ACNE has a couple of very nice looking models of black jeans on their website, although I have never seen them in person and don’t know where to buy them in the States. I’d love to find a pair of APC Overdyes but they don’t seem to be part of the line any more.

oh god, they’re called “skinny jeans” – america is so behind the times – australia and england have been wearing skinnies for years.
also dior homme anyone??

In new york you can buy a pair of Julian Red Jeans at the Vice store. (252 Lafayette. 212-219-7788). Or at http://www.fos5.com/

apc is no longer doing the black “skinnies,” dior homme and tsubi are not under $300, and didn’t the vice store close?

Totally and utterly chic and modern!

Really doesnt do it for me !
The coat looks boxy and a little formless when worn with jeans so ‘skinny’, and the soft brown shoes in the same soft brown shade as the coat, with the dark, dull coloured jeans…….fairly dingy combination if you ask me.
A far more fitted coat with those jeans, and different shoes, especially in a different colour, would truly transform this look for the better
