I love those jackets worn by women!
March 12, 2013 at 4:10 pm
If they can wear the caps, why not the jackets. The white leather arms is much better than those popular green with black leather arms coats in my opinion.
trends are a funny thing, right?

Always a great idea – there is something so crisp about a good black & white baseball jacket.
March 12, 2013 at 4:13 pm
Lovely… all of them!
March 12, 2013 at 4:16 pm
Really like them. Work with dresses, pants, cool, casual, chic… really a nice trend!

I don’t like this style but being honest woman in second pic has the power to remain in any case chic

I always call these letterman’s jackets. Once I bought a second hand one in Isla Vista that had JUDGE in letters across the back. I got a lot of comments on that. Those were the days.

JUDGE is an amazing hardcore band. Good choice. Hopefully you repped it with the knowledge of the band and not just some ignorant clothing item.

Love the first look.

I love the first outfit style!!!
I’ve been thinking about these jackets already for long time. Still haven’t found where to buy one I’d like. Not an easy task .

Such a classic. Does anyone know where I can find one?
March 12, 2013 at 4:41 pm
I like them, most of all the way the woman in the third photo wears it. I wonder if one day I’ll be able to walk in high heels under the snow…

The first look is genius. Gloriously unexpected!

Love those jackets!

I was under the impression that they were called varsity jackets? Still, such a cool look. I love the longer style in the last picture; I haven’t seen one like that before, but it bet it’s much more flattering!
March 12, 2013 at 7:00 pm
Agree. It’s a varsity jacket. They’re not exclusive to one sport (ie baseball).
March 12, 2013 at 6:04 pm
They work well with more dressed up pieces and even everything out.
March 12, 2013 at 6:10 pm
Great shots, I love the second photo, great way to make the looks more formal!
March 12, 2013 at 6:25 pm

I am fascinated that this very American style jacket has recently become a hit with the style set. In my high school, the jocks would lend their varsity jackets with their names embroidered on them to their girlfriends to show they were ‘going steady’. Never thought I’d see pics of chic women in Europe wearing this style.

That’s why you can’t donate anything. I had a jacket just like that when I was 18 yrs old. I wore it around Paris. I remember a parisian girl thought that it was an authentic high school jacket. I didn’t have the heart to tell her I actually got it at The Limited. LOL!

Second picture is my favorite. Amazing looks
March 12, 2013 at 10:17 pm
I like a jacket like this worn in a more casual/punk way. It looks silly worn with heels and fancy dandy clothes. Also, they all look like the same person to me, and all trying a bit too hard.

Love the layer of the sporty jacket & the chic trench coat! x
