This is really a masterpiece…Amazed by how maroon and purple nested with each other under orange coat..Orange is a very noble color ! http://www.ottomandandy.com
While I do adore the overall look, I am just not a fan of a man wearing so much color. Although the proportions, the textures and silhouettes are perfect. XOXO
The older men in Venice and Florence do not seem afraid of colour. I have seen emerald green, and bright yellow corduroy pants, and bright red coats. The world got very black and grey for quite some time. Possibly we shall go back to colour.
this guy has style..a perfect example of what style is..
in theory – all wrong
in practice-he pulls it off
his stance is great also- full on facing us, brazen in his confidence!
and i love how the texture of the jumper reflects the stone pillars.
oh how i love the ridiculousness of fashion!
True style seldom screams but there is no denying that fashion can be ridiculous and, when reduced to that, jeopardizes ones credibility. When you assess the total picture here– it’s a very silly get up for a young man.
The loafers completely throw off the look! The gentleman would have been much better off investing in Crockett & Jones Footwear- Chelsea, Chukka, or Monk.
Furthermore, the white shirt doesn’t work and looks very untidy outside the pants. A brown color scheme (shirt tucked in) would have really pulled the look together.

The pink sweater on this white shirt is a good choice worn with the bordeaux pants. Like Tim asked, do you know the brand of the sweater ?
