Oh yea this is very nice indeed! Very APC, preppy minimalism. The burgundy socks and metallic shoes are a highlight.

The caps are in. And way to compliment her socks and metallic shoes.

I feel proud of myself when I happen to notice my socks match my hat. This picture proves I MUST match my socks to my hat. Great impact! xoxo

This is a great shot, lots of great color contrasts.

Hmm… I am not digging this one. It reminds me of an old babushka in some God-forsaken Russian village. I WOULD, however, rock those metallic shoes. XOXO

The glance back under the brim of the hat is priceless.
February 28, 2013 at 10:50 am
Really quite wonderfully put together. Slightly twisted elegance all topped off with a fabulous pout. Lovely.
ps. I want those shoes…

What a great color combination. All preppy colors, yet the pieces and the styling add a very modern flair. Love the pop of metallic on the shoes too, and the irreverence of the cap. Very cool look!

I like the sporty look

That was exactly me in high school. Our uniform had similar colouring to her skirt.
Our principal was always calling out to me and my friend “P-L-eeease Dont slouch ladies! Chest up!’
The girl in this pic looks so keewwl

I’m sorry but I’m just not a big fan. I don’t think the outfit is very flattering for her frame and it just doesn’t flow for me — casual on top with the cap, business luncheon in the middle, casual on the bottom with the shoes. Just my personal taste though!
February 28, 2013 at 10:32 pm
For what it’s worth, I agree. The sweater and skirt don’t work – and it’s not an awesome power-clash either.
March 1, 2013 at 7:04 am
Yes definitely not flattering!

It’s not really working for me either. I do love the sock-shoe combo, though!
February 28, 2013 at 2:04 pm
Oh, no! For me everything in the look is awful, really do not understand why you all think this works.

Great colors — very crisp. I get that fashion isn’t always about what makes a person look their best, and that’s cool. This look, though, reminds me of those days when I get dressed, look in the mirror, eye my husband questioningly, and then go change the skirt, shirt, or shoes when he wrinkles his nose. It’s kind of dowdy, right?
February 28, 2013 at 6:04 pm
Maybe you shouldn’t ask your husband! ;) Is it dowdy? I suppose it depends who you ask. I like the proportion here very much.
February 28, 2013 at 6:06 pm
Of course the colors are great. But its the proportions here that interest me.
February 28, 2013 at 6:55 pm
Love the shoes and socks combo, she looks great!
March 1, 2013 at 1:38 am
Love the cap and the attitude in the matching pout! Almost no accessories needed.

Gotta like a girl in Canucks colours!
March 1, 2013 at 12:42 pm
Cool outfit. Makes me reconsider that H&M sweater…
March 4, 2013 at 1:10 pm
Isn’t this a “men repeller” outfit? Cool, but certainly not very feminine or sensual…
March 5, 2013 at 7:40 pm
All I can think of is, “Canucks”.
