All of them are splendid and make these women, who are already lovely, lovelier without overwhelming them. This has cheered me up.
March 8, 2013 at 9:07 am
Second woman is a wonderful beauty…She has that southern riviera flair !! loved it …
March 8, 2013 at 10:01 am
I like the first best; a kind of sassy bluestocking look, but Riviera girl is fun too.
March 8, 2013 at 10:36 am

Love shots like the first one especially that show the world bustling around the subject.
March 8, 2013 at 8:50 am
Beautiful photos with the snow falling. I really like the photo of the lady with the orange jacket, nice and bright against the snow :)

THE STEL STYLE
March 8, 2013 at 8:54 am
I love all of them!!! these style are fantastic!!!
March 8, 2013 at 8:59 am
The first and second are perfection. Both carrying the same clutch! I am tired and annoyed of pics of people on their phones.
March 8, 2013 at 9:01 am
The colours patterns and textures on lady number one are just perfect!
March 8, 2013 at 9:02 am
2nd and 3rd looks are my fave, and amazing captures.
March 8, 2013 at 9:06 am

Love the 1st pic!
March 8, 2013 at 9:22 am
Great shots and styles! Love it with the snow!
March 8, 2013 at 9:27 am
Stunning! It’s possible by chance that woman on 1st and on 2nd photo have the same bag? How unexpected … :)
March 8, 2013 at 9:31 am
this has been a great winter for coats, home and abroad, such a wide variety of colors and materials!
March 8, 2013 at 9:39 am
Love the second pic! Orange and white!
March 8, 2013 at 9:44 am
I am waking up to a snowy morning in the northeast myself and thought the same thing! I felt a sudden sense to create something with the feeling of snow involved. These are awesome!
Is the paisley pillow a new fashion accessory I’m unaware of? Did these two ladies share the pillow with each other or do they each have their own? Surely the photographer doesn’t provide props!
Regardless, love the beautiful ensembles!
March 8, 2013 at 9:45 am
All these snow day shots are lovely, but the first one is special. She looks so serene and beautiful in the midst of chaos.
March 8, 2013 at 9:47 am
I’ve seen the color combo in the second picture in Donald Judd’s art. And she wears it well.
March 8, 2013 at 9:48 am
The snow is so pretty!
March 8, 2013 at 9:51 am
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE LAST LOOK!

A strong stylish statuette amongst a sea of busyness, calm and determined in the gracefully dancing snow.
Excellent image, Scott!

I love how nobody is looking at the camera in every single of these photos. Yet it’s so crowded.
And I think people should wear more white pants in the winter. Period.
March 8, 2013 at 10:08 am
My heart goes for the first and last looks. They are telling people around them snowy ‘March’ days need ‘March’ color winter coats. No charcoal in March! xoxo
March 8, 2013 at 10:11 am
I dislike cigarettes (in the last photo) more than cell phones.
March 8, 2013 at 10:14 am
the pop of blood orange throughout the image (the nails, the hat, and the purse, or whatever the woman is holding, is amazing!
March 8, 2013 at 10:27 am
Wishin all women would dress like that,is wishfull thinking .
March 8, 2013 at 10:31 am
Amazing shots!!! Love how you captured the snow!!!
March 8, 2013 at 10:41 am
4th photo so balanced nothing new but just timeless 3 pieces cat dress boots this is minimal
March 8, 2013 at 10:57 am
Give me that bomber jacket from the 1st picture! NEED it! Lovely red, ruby and maroon colours!
March 8, 2013 at 11:07 am
But why are people still wearing fur? :(
March 8, 2013 at 11:11 am
Love the rich colors in the second picture!
March 8, 2013 at 11:14 am
It’s nice to know others are dealing with the snow in such a fashionable way. Also love that orange jacket.

Such nice pictures. I like pictures with fresh snow in it =)
March 8, 2013 at 11:25 am
The first and last ladies ( especially the first) look as if they are hovering over the wet sidewalk while the drab crowd mills around them. Remarkable photos of women who appear to be transcendent in their environments.

I adore these photos, especially the last look! The snow adds that extra dimension.
I wish my hair looked as good in the snow. Lovely shots and styles for the lingering winter.
March 8, 2013 at 12:24 pm
Beautiful photos! Very inspiring.
March 8, 2013 at 12:28 pm
The laced shoes on the 1st photo are similar to a pair I was wearing a long time ago ! I lost them somewhere.
Great photos, as usual.
March 8, 2013 at 12:39 pm
my favorite is the orange coat with the black and white. And I like her subtle smile.
March 8, 2013 at 12:51 pm
Simply fabulous. The women are handsome, lovely and cool in the best, most understated way. The delicacy of the falling snow is captured in such a way that I can almost feel it on my skin. This is not a “street style” or fashion blog as many people mistake it for. This a place where beautiful pictures are used to capture the essence of interesting, layered individuals. Your work, like the lady in the first photo, is a singular act of composed awareness and flow a chaotic sea of “going”, “doing”, “trying”. So cool!

That first lady tells me where Prada gets its ideas. Excellent.
March 8, 2013 at 1:11 pm
love the fur coat and the white pants
March 8, 2013 at 1:14 pm
Every one of these ladies looks incredible, and are a 1000 times more interesting than the fashion show shots (both runway and street) of the past week or so.
March 8, 2013 at 1:22 pm
these photos with the falling snow are SO cool!
March 8, 2013 at 1:33 pm
I really like that pics and outfits. Look so chic. Have a nice day.

I really like the stillness of the central subject and the snow falling…
March 8, 2013 at 3:10 pm
Guys, these “clutches” on pitures #1,2 are famous pillows which every Etro guest could take after their show! And the 2nd lady is Ukrainian beauty and pride-ELLE Ukraine fashion editor Aliona Gluhih:)
March 8, 2013 at 5:00 pm
The third picture illustrates exactly why there needs to be more gorgeous smart leather gloves on the market. I understand Milan is not nearly as cold as Canada, but no one should have to take off their gloves anymore in order to use their phone during winter time…
une chatte grise
March 10, 2013 at 1:30 am
Do we really need to come up with a new style of glove so people can keep fixating on their “devices” and ignoring the world around them? I understand that there are times when a phone truly needs to be used at that moment, inclement weather and all else be damned. But seriously… in most cases, if it’s really cold out, can’t people just bloody wait until they get indoors to use their phones? Do they HAVE to be connected to the digital umbilical 24/7?
(Wow, I feel really old and grumpy now… should I add “And get off my lawn”? :))
March 8, 2013 at 7:22 pm
I love the first photo. The way she is standing, so erect, so proud, as the world around her takes no notice and keeps moving. I like the contrast of movement to pose, of fashion, to practical wear.
March 8, 2013 at 7:45 pm
I love how different the same clutch looks from pic one to pic two. So wonderful. I love everything about these. But…are those bunny ears on her phone?
March 8, 2013 at 10:40 pm
The snow in these photos make them instantly magical. Great shots! :)
March 9, 2013 at 2:07 am
Aliona’s bag, which brand? It’s beautiful with its blue details. Tia.

Gosh, so many gorgeous women, and not all of them are models (but could be, of course).
March 9, 2013 at 6:42 am
Love the 1st and 2nd looks.
March 9, 2013 at 8:13 am
Totally in love with the second and the last! Great inspirations!

Love the first photo, she looks totally unfazed by all the activity around her.

Lovely shots of charming women [sigh].
March 9, 2013 at 3:07 pm
great composition on the first photo, especially for being unplanned. I love the pillow clutches haha
although, is it bad I’m annoyed by how nobody wears their jackets but leaves the hanging over their shoulders? it just gives off some kind of “im sooo fashionable and in and you’re not” vibe
March 10, 2013 at 12:55 pm
Beyond the fashion and sartorial elements, and the beauty of this lady, the 1st picture is incredible by its construction and all the levels of reading it provides, up to societal meanings.
March 10, 2013 at 4:09 pm
I love the colors chosen for this time of year- muted reds and neutrals. And the coats are warm looking, but living myself in a snowy part of the U.S., I know how it feels to just want to throw off the big heavy coat and reveal whatever cute spring ensemble is underneath! I feel their pain.
March 11, 2013 at 6:14 am
The first picture reminds me a Chinese Idiom “A crane among the chicken.”

Scott, it nice to see the difference in every outfit …
Gotta say that the whole pose really influences their appearance. For instance the first and second photo, both the same clutch but looking totally different.
Shooting with little snowflakes is great, done the same for my streetstyle blog when shooting in Amsterdam.
The first photo is great because everyone is like getting out of there, as if she has some kind of aura.
March 13, 2013 at 1:48 am

The lovely lady in the 2nd photo is the epitome of perfection! Lovely face, great clothes and well, I fancy orange, so she caught my eye.
