You are one hard working Sartorialist. So great that you never take your audience for granted and don’t get jaded.

Those Gold and Black pony hair shoes simply must come in mens sizes! I love all the fur and the vintage style bags, very clever.
Apart from the gorilla boots…

I am a cloths horse myself…enjoy the looks generally, and am a people watcher too, however all the real fur and cigs that are showing up more and more this season….turn me off cold.

Agree completely Kim – real fur is such a turn off. I wonder if anyone actually thinks about how these products are made?

What is a cloths horse.

A person excessively concerned with dress.

But you don’t have to wear the fur this season – it’s NEXT winter’s clothes, so you have a whole year to get accustomed to it! Do not open before Xmas 2013!
(Fashion travels at the speed of light, someone stop this seasonal speculation…)

The fur boots are incredible. Also I love the metallic and trim (pony-hair) combo slip-ons. Very cool, like everything and anything Marni.

Some really great bags, in fact I am lusting after basically all of them, however the sandals and the fur boots…?! Not a fan!
Most of the collection is clean and simple, I just feel that those two pieces miss the mark a bit!

I love the pony slippers with gold tips!
February 27, 2013 at 5:15 am
Me too!!!!! But what were those hideous flat velcro strap sandals doing there?!
February 27, 2013 at 3:02 pm
I agree with you, what were they thinking, strap sandels in winter??? With a fur coat?

Seeing too much fur chills me to the bone …Somebody must stop seal massacres in Canada…

Love the flat shoes and the leather bag with the leather jacket!

Poor animals,it would be better, make a collection with faux fur?? Faux fur forever!!!. I love fashion but not in that way, some great designers are eco conscious as Stella McCartney.

How depressing to see fur accepted and indeed championed by the fashion industry once more. Would have been unthinkable 10-15 years ago. Sometimes attitudes go backwards as well as forwards. But I guess there will always be people keen to make even more money from anything available, even if that ‘anything available’ is a short lifetime filled with suffering and misery for animals.

The flat bag is so lovely — can’t say it will hold much, maybe an iPad.

I am in Love with those black and gold shoes!

Furs is so beautiful but looks quite decadent these days. I remember when I was a child, my grandmother would not allow my aunt to wear her new mink coat to church because she would embarrass the poor people in the congregation. I think about that whenever I want to put on the dog…so to speak.

i adore fur!

Fur is like racism – shocking that in 2013 you still encounter it. The selfishnes required to accept cruelty for the sake of decoration is mind boggling.
March 27, 2013 at 5:29 am
So seductive, so cruel.
