Upper right one looks like Bugs Bunny, where arms got more than ears…lol…Bottom right, feels like having just gone out of the shower with soap bubbles. The punk one is so out of date…Asian one is far and away the best… http://www.ottomandandy.com
I’d have to agree on Oscar de la Renta. I really liked the collection and different direction. I think John Galliano’s influence on the house is obvious and I love what I see!!!!
I don’t really follow fashion week, but I really like Rodarte this season. I also like what I have seen from Prada and Proenza. Dolce and Gabbana made me smile, so much glitter and gold (I’m a closet-crow).
Well I can only talk about the collections I loved, I wish I could talk about some shows some day! The ones you mentioned are beautiful collections, my favorites from NY are Creatures of the Wind and Phillip Lim, but I also loved JCrew. My favorite in London is Peter Pilotto and in Milano it was Fendi and Marni.
Agree with the Proenza Schouler and Prada! I must add Dolce & Gabbana, i know is almost the same collection they always present but i still love the baroque details.
so funny, because my favorite ‘show’ is your photos of people on the street, all over the world. A ga-zillion times more interesting to me than any runway fashion show. I know they make all the models do prune-face, but why? That in itself is enough to make me bored!
Prada was so emotional for me- it was the ultimate! I can’t stop thinking about it!
Loved J.W. Anderson in London and Marc Jacobs and Proenza in NYC!
I have other loves in other collections (Christopher Kane, Bottega, Marni, Derek Lam, A Detacher and both collections by the Olsons were very good!) so it’s saying a lot that Prada still comes out on top- that show was like a classic movie!
See all my picks posted on Yourplasticbag.tumblr.com fellow fashion lovers!
Keep up the good work, S. S.
There have been some great collections, and my favourites are Ralph Lauren, Proenza Schouler, Marchesa (I mean who can resist a gorgeous gown), Belstaff, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta (again with the irresistible gowns), Tommy Hilfiger, Issa London, Temperley London, Emilio Pucci and last but not least, Dolce and Gabbana, which always makes it onto my list!
What about London? I like all of the collections you have highlighted, Prada had me moved, but luminaries like J.W. Anderson and Tom Ford surely deserve a mention.

Does that have anything to do with you being an Ottoman dandy? As opposed to say an Anglican dandy or an African dandy?
