Simply a man who fell in love with himself in an insane way… and people is feeding his vanity without control.
I bet most of the people (and certainly all of those who visit your blog) buy clothes just for their labels… As absurd as it may appear to some, it feels great, doesn’t it? :)
This tag has been a running joke between me and my boyfriend for ages! Bravo to the Product Development person who got this through the design department plus legal, marketing, production, sales, etc.!
In case you’re wondering, this is from the low end line of the mid-end line (MbyMJ) of the high-end line (MJ). Its been around for years, and there are tons of items with these labels – everything from sweaters to Tshirts, bags, socks and shoes, and swimsuits to underwear! Items range from $1 to $500!
Hey, Scott, this has been such a good and appreciated laugh. My take on this label is that Marc Jacobs has multiple personalities and they all share the same name.
