what’s so terribly wrong with wearing sock under the snow?!i mean it’s just socks, they don’t bite you, they don’t even look that bad..there’s a proper time for everything: this is the perfet time for socks!

I love that last photo ! If not for the cars, it could be from the 1920′s-30′s .. lovely.

Exactly what I was going to write …. “now, if it was in sepia tone ….”

February 22, 2013 at 9:52 am
The last photo is amazing. SO elegant and glamorous – apart from the beanie (which looks great) reminds me of the 1940′s when we were allowed to look like Real Women! (Although I wasn’t even born then). – I am dashing out to buy nude tights and killer heels as we speak.
February 22, 2013 at 9:57 am
Ooo, some of the jacket are amazing. I really like that first one. Have a nice day.

6th photo is great (leopard print coat). Not a fan of the somewhat clunky boots in the 2nd photo.

REALLY STYLISH PEOPLE !!! LOVE FRANCA SOZZANI CAPE !!!
Gotta love the fashion capitals…come rain, shine or blizzard, they refuse to do anything but look fucking fabulous.
February 22, 2013 at 10:49 am
Kind of boring. Nothing very creative. Just the usual faces, with the usual things. Lots of trophy dressing out there in the fashion world.
I love the fact that Emanuelle Alt wears her Marant coat from 2 years ago. That’s awesome. Setting the bar high. Telling folks: listen up, you don’t HAVE to have the latest. Well, it doesn’t harm to have some strong new pieces (Balmain for Alt), but no, not EVERY look has to be smash-bang-thelastest-offering-from-designer-XYZ. Alt has guts.

I’ve not given much thought to coats because Southern California is typically not that cold. However, this winter has had some unusually cold days and I’m soooooo not prepared. I have no coat style or coat identity. But thanks to these pictures I at least have some direction. I really like the 1st photo.
February 22, 2013 at 2:05 pm
Love the photos. Beautiful pics of beautiful women.
February 22, 2013 at 2:58 pm

February 22, 2013 at 3:07 pm
The first look is just fab! The fur enriches the outfit. Very trending!
February 22, 2013 at 3:27 pm
I love pic two, the girl in the big black puffy coat with her black hair pulled back. So evocative, so sexy, so chic!
February 22, 2013 at 3:38 pm
So many great shoots, big inspiration here.
February 22, 2013 at 4:14 pm
you’re so talented to take women look like that, they are always so natural, almost the first photography….
February 22, 2013 at 7:32 pm
Franca Sozzani’s cape is so funny!) Black, but still girly)
February 22, 2013 at 8:36 pm
Love the shot of the woman in the gorgeous blue fur getting out of the car…you got the timing just right!
February 23, 2013 at 12:31 pm
I wonder what the two girls with the black lipstick are singing…

Love the second look–the big boots, thick tights, and textured sweater look fabulous & weather-friendly and make the short skirt work!
That Hat Lady
February 23, 2013 at 7:00 pm
I love the embroidered leather skirt in picture #2. I figure she’s had it for 10 years or she picked it up in a vintage shop, then shortened the skirt to thigh high. You can tell by where the embroidery stops so close to the edge. Embroidered leather and suede skirts and jackets were popular around 2004-2005. I still have my pieces and still wear them. I love how she wears hers with modern accessories.
February 24, 2013 at 5:23 pm
The girl’s skirt is Christopher Kane, from the leather embroidered and embellished collection. Pretty sure of it.
February 23, 2013 at 8:57 pm
Scott has been taking lots of Caroline’s pictures lately. Watch out, Garance :-)
February 24, 2013 at 12:59 am
These are all great! The leg out of the car is seriously ooh la la. The two girls with dark lipstick are sexy. Are they laughing? Or singing? The shot of the woman walking away is so cinematic. The puffy coat and terrific smile in the first one. The slush and snow just adds a touch of reality.
February 24, 2013 at 5:39 am
I love all the shots taken outside a fashion show building. Smiling Franca is my favourite!
February 24, 2013 at 7:56 am
I love the first picture, the woman is head to toe in black but the light makes her look so bright and her lips just pop. Another great shot Scott!
