what’s so terribly wrong with wearing sock under the snow?!i mean it’s just socks, they don’t bite you, they don’t even look that bad..there’s a proper time for everything: this is the perfet time for socks!
The last photo is amazing. SO elegant and glamorous – apart from the beanie (which looks great) reminds me of the 1940′s when we were allowed to look like Real Women! (Although I wasn’t even born then). – I am dashing out to buy nude tights and killer heels as we speak.
really inspiring medly of outerwear (since by now we are all ready to give up haha)– caroline issa’s look is to die for- that combination of texture and shape! in garance-zoe-speak– I die!
Kind of boring. Nothing very creative. Just the usual faces, with the usual things. Lots of trophy dressing out there in the fashion world.
I love the fact that Emanuelle Alt wears her Marant coat from 2 years ago. That’s awesome. Setting the bar high. Telling folks: listen up, you don’t HAVE to have the latest. Well, it doesn’t harm to have some strong new pieces (Balmain for Alt), but no, not EVERY look has to be smash-bang-thelastest-offering-from-designer-XYZ. Alt has guts.
I’ve not given much thought to coats because Southern California is typically not that cold. However, this winter has had some unusually cold days and I’m soooooo not prepared. I have no coat style or coat identity. But thanks to these pictures I at least have some direction. I really like the 1st photo.
I love the embroidered leather skirt in picture #2. I figure she’s had it for 10 years or she picked it up in a vintage shop, then shortened the skirt to thigh high. You can tell by where the embroidery stops so close to the edge. Embroidered leather and suede skirts and jackets were popular around 2004-2005. I still have my pieces and still wear them. I love how she wears hers with modern accessories.
These are all great! The leg out of the car is seriously ooh la la. The two girls with dark lipstick are sexy. Are they laughing? Or singing? The shot of the woman walking away is so cinematic. The puffy coat and terrific smile in the first one. The slush and snow just adds a touch of reality.
