That’s basically the look. It’s harder to find a suit that fits at a thrift store than it is to find a jacket, so I just floss the jacket, shirt, tie, and dress shoes with jeans.

Hmmm….fauxhawk, black suit, thin black tie, tie clip, sneakers and Starbucks. That’s about as unique as Starbucks.

    Next.

I would say “The Look” has to be decked out a bit more; Frietag or other satchel instead of the soft briefcase/portfolio, Limited sneakers of somekind (anything but pumas’).
If it has to be jeans, it shouldn’t be a black jacket. Though it looks like his jacket fits, and the tie clip is a nice touch that would probably be forgotten if it was an off the rack discount look.

“The Look” I’m talking about isn’t SoHo/LES hipster. It’s more rock and roll dresses up than supreme/evisu/alife/aNYthing/nike.

The goal here is style, not wearable hipster status symbols.

Obviously part of his “look” is the unbuttoned shirt/looseneed tie. However, it looks like he wouldn’t be able to button the top button even if he tried. Is that considered good or bad? If one is doing the unbuttoned shirt/tie look should he at least be able to button up if called upon? Opinions?

It’s the white sneakers that do it for me. I think they bring the whole outfit together. Any other color/style would have made it look a little, I don’t know, sloppy?

kinda fly outfit, but a skinny jeans, like acne and a better sneakers like gucci och dior. would be super

Not a bad look by any means, but certainly nothing original. The white sneaks are a nice touch, but I’d really like to see him try something different with his hair. I’ve never been a big proponent of the faux-hawk, and it looks purely played-out with this outfit.

Common, and really badly done – nothing fits right. Learn to dress like a gentleman and get back to us. Yes, Anshuman, the shirt should be able to button and SHOULD BE BUTTONED here. He is not working a casual/dressed up look or the look where the message is either “It’s so hot, or I’m off work so I can loosen my collar.”
