Love her coat shoes and purse! Divine!!
February 18, 2013 at 9:13 am
Wish they all could be pretty London girls . . .
Little known fact: That was The Beach Boys first draft.
February 18, 2013 at 9:16 am
Sorry but I don’t like the colors mix and shoes.
February 18, 2013 at 9:17 am
Beautiful dark tones with the touch of orange. Agreed it is a nice break from the obviously more over the top ensembles… Ah those shoes!
February 18, 2013 at 9:22 am
Well I guess it depends what you call ‘street style’? I don’t think all these people outside Sommerset House qualify.

I agree. The emphasis on colour is no doubt due to the dreary and depressing weather we get here where there seems to be no light for the whole of January. Why would we want to wear grey/black/navy when that’s all we wake up and see? As for ‘street style’ ~ These days Sommerset house while LFW is on is not the place to find it. Why not try London Bridge, Soho, Tooting Bec, Leytonstone, Maida Vale, Pimlico?
February 19, 2013 at 1:38 pm
But she’s outside Mansion House at Bank tube, many miles from Somerset House
February 19, 2013 at 2:40 pm
I agree. Sommerset House during LFW atracts editors or fashion enthusiasts, none of which are dressing as they would if it was not fashion week. Street style is what people wear in their daily lives, reflecting their characters and personal styles. Besides, Somerset House is not the equivalent to London.
February 20, 2013 at 7:52 pm
I guess all that matters is what the owner of the blog thinks is street style. I think anyone going about their business on the street qualifies. I don’t see any need to prune according to where they work.
February 18, 2013 at 9:23 am
I agree, the color and texture mixing is amazing!!! She looks so radiant and chic!
February 18, 2013 at 9:25 am
Everything about this outfit look perfect!♥
Love the quirky details, very unique outfit
February 18, 2013 at 9:33 am
always love these shoes :)
Gorgeous look! The texture and colors are so beautiful!
February 18, 2013 at 9:40 am
Nice layering! Love her clutch and the overall quirkiness of the outfit.
February 18, 2013 at 9:41 am
I agree, lovely.
It should look over the top putting all those beautiful and stand out pieces together. It doesn’t, just quietly crazy!
Love her bag! Eventhough she’s mixing several colours and patterns, it still looks ‘quiet’. Lovely face & haircut as well, very natural.
February 18, 2013 at 9:43 am
this coat is phenomenal! ahh i love london.
February 18, 2013 at 9:49 am
great look and love her perky pieces!
February 18, 2013 at 9:53 am

Wow, love her shoes!!

Day to night outfit with different shoes. Clever.
Totally agree- i love the refined statement. Pretty good looking model, too.

February 18, 2013 at 10:14 am
Terrific! I love the color combinations, the green and orange and the coat really pulls it together. Such a nice natural look and her expression makes it great!
February 18, 2013 at 10:23 am
A total dream this look! I absolutely adore the color palette and the textures seem to be very delicate.
February 18, 2013 at 10:25 am
Oh agreed! The coral-y color of her clutch with the poison-green of the coat lining (or shirt she’s wearing; can’t tell) is sublime. And I would not choose those shoes. But she’s working it.
February 18, 2013 at 10:30 am
Oh the old good Prada shoes !! Love to see them again ! And it matches perfectly with the clutch
February 18, 2013 at 10:36 am
She has a great purse!
February 18, 2013 at 10:44 am
Love the coat and dress.
February 18, 2013 at 10:55 am
Great example of style I don’t quite agree with (the shoes with this outfit) but love anyway.
Bonnie, Clyde and Marni
February 18, 2013 at 11:01 am
Love her outfit!!
February 18, 2013 at 11:04 am
Holy platforms! They’re like men’s shoes in platform form. I wouldn’t consider this outfit simple in any way, but I definitely like it. It’s got winter and spring elements in those textures and colors, which I love.
February 18, 2013 at 11:14 am
The look is just gorgeous!! The colours’ mix is elegant and trending. The orange bag is a great detail. I would change the shoes, though…
Daisy Roadster and Coco
February 18, 2013 at 11:16 am
The colour mix really suits her.
Nice clutch and shoes !

Sorry but those shoes are a… No, no , no

Love this look – it’s the orange clutch with really makes it and the different textures are wonderful!
February 18, 2013 at 12:19 pm

February 18, 2013 at 12:26 pm
Gorgeous look, every piece is unique and they all mix well together.
February 18, 2013 at 12:44 pm
That coat looks amazing and I like that material. So nice. Have a great day.
February 18, 2013 at 12:46 pm
Thats a lovely outfit. I like the picture!
February 18, 2013 at 12:51 pm
I particularly love the stylishly subtle way she’s dressed in case of bad weather.
February 18, 2013 at 1:20 pm
The OTT street style in the UK right now is a reaction to how incredibly crap the weather is here in the winter. Sure, the Eastern part of the US is covered in snow, but at least the sun comes out afterwards! And you’re right…this girl is getting it right, to be sure.
February 18, 2013 at 1:23 pm
Wow! Amazing coat :)
February 18, 2013 at 1:24 pm
Hmmm. I know what he means. I disagree. At some point its no any longer t referencing another decade. Its simply a part of now. But this girl does look great.
February 18, 2013 at 1:42 pm
February 18, 2013 at 1:47 pm
It’s interesting to use the phrase ‘over the top’ – I can’t help reading it in a slightly judgemental way. To me it’s similar to saying ‘too much’.
My view is it indicates something less objective than that and that those that are rocking that look in the UK are merely out of step with what the fashion mood is currently elsewhere.
Vive le difference!
February 18, 2013 at 5:04 pm
I agree. I read that as “London fashion is terrible right now but look at this girl who fits what I think is ‘right’”.
Fashion is subjective, and what seems over the top to one person may be subtle to another. Not to mention the cultural differences. London has always been more eccentric than the other big cities. It’s just our “thing”.
Sorry if you think it’s OTT, but Londoners will keep going over the top regardless of what other people think.
February 19, 2013 at 4:26 am
you claim that London is always over the top, but are bothered he is pointing this out? if London is always over the top, then those who are not from there would obviously gain this opinion after visiting, that it is over the top.
February 19, 2013 at 9:56 am
but he says it in a negative way, yes it is over the top, and maybe it isn’t his taste but that doesn’t make it bad taste
February 20, 2013 at 7:48 pm
Well its HIS OPINION that he is stating. I don’t think Scott is putting out the idea that everything he says is law. I DO know what he means however( even if I don’t quite agree) so there must be a point in there. He isn’t claiming that everyone will think so. He is simply saying to him this is the one of a few people who dress with the restraint HE likes. Whats wrong with that?
February 18, 2013 at 1:48 pm
Great look. Love the stockings but the shoes; not so much….and oh those legs!
February 18, 2013 at 1:50 pm
Those Prada shoes wear her and not the other way round…
I’m very curious to know if all those who come in their pants watching some horror and lavish in hysterical praise, they would dress that way.
In this particular case, I’m referring to the shoes, which are really ugly without any shadow of doubt.
February 18, 2013 at 1:54 pm
Fashion week street style has become over the top in general, ridiculous in my opinion. I therefore really appreciatie that you concentrate on people who obtain both simplicity and authenticity.
February 18, 2013 at 2:27 pm
I love her. Each piece she has on is unique and vibrant, without being too loud. It works so well because it doesn’t come across as trying to hard. She just looks great.
February 18, 2013 at 2:30 pm
This is elegant, very lady like in a way, but funny style. Texture mixing is a must for me, no matter when or where… the colors are just the way I like them. Really beautiful coat!
February 18, 2013 at 2:31 pm
I don’t really enjoy the color mix…the shoes especially do not fit in my opinion..and the coat does not have my favorite shade of brown also but is a great picture. Kisses
February 18, 2013 at 2:45 pm
The shoes make this for me, they pull it all together x
February 18, 2013 at 3:07 pm
No doubting she is a pretty girl but best of London? definitely not. Head to Dalston Superstore to see the best of London style for sure.
February 19, 2013 at 10:06 am
Agreed! This is definitely not the best of London, beautiful though she is.
February 18, 2013 at 3:28 pm
I wanna see these extreme London styles!
February 18, 2013 at 3:59 pm
Nice, but if you think it’s the best of London, you ain’t seen mutch dude.
February 18, 2013 at 4:11 pm
actually, i *do like it. the bag and the shoes…somehow are a great marriage. shoes harken back to 80′s creepers in the East Village, but more colorful. bag reminds me of a cross between my funky grandmother’s clutch bags in the 60′s (those beads!) and…the ethnic beaded seat covers (again, those beads!) that some NYC cabbies have in their taxi cabs.
i’m loving the return of the color chartreuse right now – and with that sublimely textured brown coat, it’s a perfect glimmer of ‘edge.’
one thing i think that the english do is not always aim for “sexy” in the sense that americans usually do…and it seems to free up their sense of style and risk-taking a bit (the “dressing for themselves and not so much for others” part)
February 18, 2013 at 4:53 pm
She looks adorable! I want to meet her!
February 18, 2013 at 5:07 pm
Very, very lovely!
February 18, 2013 at 5:22 pm
great colours, hang around Somerset House and you will always see beautifully dressed and interesting people every week not just #lfw although it does help
February 18, 2013 at 5:41 pm
I’m getting over street style now. It’s all the same. A bunch of people trying to look effortlessly cool but now it just looks like they are trying to hard…
February 18, 2013 at 5:47 pm
The shoe throws the rest off….
February 18, 2013 at 6:15 pm
Three colors in this compositions: copper brown, green, and orange in the complements is amazing. The combination of these three colors is very harmonious.
February 18, 2013 at 7:02 pm
February 18, 2013 at 10:51 pm
Love the Pradas but the highlighted hair and earring / whole outfit just screams a bit try hard, the automatic assumption that clashing colour and print is “fashion”. Sorry.
February 19, 2013 at 3:35 am
I definitely had the same thought about London street style when I was at an electro festival there last summer – I was overwhelmed by all the neon, cropped tops, high tops, big hair, fish net vests…way too much 80s for me, but definitely fascinating to observe!
February 19, 2013 at 5:03 am
Love the pop of green peeking out! The texture play is amazing as well!
February 19, 2013 at 7:06 pm
great mix of high/low, feminine/ masculine. adore the shoes
February 21, 2013 at 3:48 pm
This is very special, the textures she combines, lengths, and I adore her clutch!
February 24, 2013 at 7:38 am
She is the assistant buyer at net a porter, lovely girl with a very personal sense of style.
March 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm
Agree with everything you said Scott, and I will add that she’s a knockout.
