Agreed, nice and clean. I also love that he’s standing like an experienced dancer, feet turned out, really beautiful.

Yes, I agree.

Not sure whether I like the coat or not, but he’s making it work! He’s really sharp.
Oh, play it louder!!
February 15, 2013 at 2:50 pm
I like the way he plays with collars.
February 15, 2013 at 3:03 pm
So manly and neat. I like his style.

Love that the cap is small, unusual look.

Love the beanie on him!
February 15, 2013 at 3:32 pm
Very well played. He really takes advantage of his strong body here. This coat could swallow up less well-formed man.
February 15, 2013 at 4:59 pm
Agreed…the unconstructed overcoat– reminiscent of the iconic 80′s Armani blazer–requires strong shoulders to fill.
February 15, 2013 at 3:35 pm
I have the sense that he was dressed by a John Steinbeck novel, in a good way.
February 15, 2013 at 3:39 pm
Handsome! and beautifully dressed.
very nice blend of dressy/casual twist. A good look. sharp.

The coat, tie and shirt are incredible. The cut of the coat is amazing, don’t think I’ve ever seen it before.

amazing coat, wonderful collar design!
February 15, 2013 at 6:02 pm
For once, I like the beanie/hat. It’s fitted to this man’s head and doesn’t sit on top of it like we’ve seen too many times. Well done.

The sum is greater then the individual parts.
Everything is so good but the guy and the ensemble just works soooo well.
He is one of the best dressed guys I have seen on here in a while.
February 16, 2013 at 10:23 am
Definitely one of the best dressed men Scott has shot in a while. Extremely fresh to see new faces with immaculate style. Who is he?
February 15, 2013 at 8:17 pm
Sharp & clean. Great look! Except I would’ve pulled the hat over my ears…..)))
February 15, 2013 at 10:00 pm
The 3 Bs, bones, body, balls – great look and prescence.
February 15, 2013 at 10:05 pm
Crisp. Love everything about this.
February 16, 2013 at 12:12 am
Yummy! This man looks elegant and cool… and oh, so fine.
February 19, 2013 at 12:36 pm
I couldn’t agree with you more Monique. Yummy…indeed!

Am I the only one not digging the overcoat? I like the color but the shoulder seams remind me of an over-sized t-shirt which doesn’t really suit the rest of the outfit. Not feeling the short sleeves on it either.
February 16, 2013 at 2:48 am
he looks amazing !!!
February 16, 2013 at 6:53 am
I really see no functional purpose for a one-button, collarless long coat.
February 16, 2013 at 8:07 am
To my eye, the look seems part Ted (from the 1970s) and Buffalo Boy (from 1990s) — both out of the UK of course. I’m not suggesting the guy here is even aware of these influences — at his age, he probably isn’t — but there always seem to be a return to a close-to-the-body, severely tailored, “gay blade,” macho look that brings the stevedore, the biker and the blue-jeaned tough to high fashion. The downside, in my opinion, is that this impulse is always a wanton rejection of sartorial tradition, without really understanding what you’re rejecting and why… inevitably, we eventually come back to collars and draped trousers, and all the other time-tested particulars of the male tradition.

The coat is Ann Sofie Back SP12, I believe! It was at Assembly New York, and it was a very oversized women’s coat.
February 16, 2013 at 11:54 am
I find strange the ways he wears the beanie!
February 16, 2013 at 11:56 am
lovely guy and efficient look
February 16, 2013 at 12:00 pm
I started off with an oh! That looks good and then I started looking critically, I tend to concur with the comments regarding the coat and the fact that the cuffs of the jacket protrude to far through the coat sleeves. While I pick up on the imperfections, the gentleman looks good and he has put some thought into it. So as far as I am concerned he is too praised, he looks good, he is putting thought and effort into his appearance, it is not perfect and none of us are. So well done sir, you are a credit.
February 16, 2013 at 2:23 pm
What a smart outfit! Love the coat…wonder if there’s a girl version
February 17, 2013 at 3:18 am
Am I the only one that finds that the boots (Timberland?) don’t go really well with this look ?
February 17, 2013 at 3:55 am
I dont think its manly enough as ‘THE COAT” is for women-if you look properly!
February 17, 2013 at 4:34 am
Little too contrived..
February 17, 2013 at 4:25 pm
I want a boyfriend that dresses like that! Love the look of the boots.
February 18, 2013 at 11:55 am
judging by his height, the fit and lines of hit pieces, this gentleman is well aware of what he has on. and he wears it very well!
February 19, 2013 at 3:48 am
nice mix of old and new. handsome man too!
February 19, 2013 at 4:10 am
God, he reminds of the black brits in the 60s! Mod style. Rude boy style.
*I dont mind that the jacket might be womens or the short sleeves because it all WORKS.
February 19, 2013 at 5:01 pm
Marlon Taylor-Wiles is a great person first off. He is also one of the best dressed brothers I know. This photo says so much. The sleeves on the jacket are beautiful. The flipped up collar really emphasizes the winged lapels. And the peter pan collar is killer. His stance is that of a great dancer. Ok I’m done :)
February 20, 2013 at 7:28 am
There is nothing like a man who is masculine and stylish. This brother nailed it!
