No pants ending above the knee should be quilted. It ruins the proportions of tall men and exacerbates the negative qualities in short men (who can be so very stylish in a way tall men cannot)
I’m very much into high-fashion and my fashion credo is all about men’s clothing being presented as an attractive and orginal alternative to ‘traditional’ menswear (Thom Browne being a perfect example). However, those quilted pants don’t do it for me at all, and the pants and shirt from Umit Benan remind me of the outfits Kanye wore during his three-night run in Atlantic City back in December.
