the open toe kills it. if only women would start paying attention to the little voice that tells you “yes” or “no” to that open toe.
i’m not sure there’s a rule per say. mostly, it’s intuition, instinct. my inner eye says, “gloves + fur = closed toe heel.”
think of your classic tailored black cocktail dress with a pencil skirt cut just below the knee – can you imagine wearing an open toe with that? peep toe, yes, open toe, no. though you might be able to get away with a stilleto thong…

I’m not sure weather conditions exist that call for both open-toe shoes and gloves.
Those gloves are fab though.

i love the jacket–and i agree on what others say about the shoes—but this is not a perfect world is it????
