February 10, 2013 at 9:56 am
The last photo is the best! Plus I love the outfit!
Oh, love the coat in the first photo. She needs a beanie or something warm on her head. Brrrr.

It looks like Nemo influenced street fashion more than Fashion Week- thanks for the storm photos
February 10, 2013 at 10:47 am
still cool no matter what !!!!
I’m here in Kiev, Ukraine at the moment and I know Ukrianians wear lots of fur in the winter to keep warm. I see that two of these photos have girls wearing fur coats—in New York. I was curious, how is fur recieved, in general, in the US? I bought a couple fox fur hats here in Ukraine and was wondering how that would be perceived in the US?
February 10, 2013 at 11:49 am
honestly??? not well.
I inherited fur very chic fur hats from my great Aunt and I have to be very conscientious of where I wear them.
I had one person scoff at me and call me ‘unethical’ upon entering a college bar once. ( it was cold..and the closest place i could find for a quick drink).
SO you can wear them..you just have to be mindful of the venue.
February 11, 2013 at 2:04 pm
agreed. i inherited a fox fur scarf from my mom which i stopped myself from wearing and i live in montreal. i don’t buy any fur myself but sometimes i wonder, if i inherit it/buy a vintage one and it keeps me warm, it’s not so wrong to wear it instead of using more resources from the world no?
just some thoughts. i would like to hear what others think.
February 17, 2013 at 3:54 pm
I’d agree. 2nd hand is one of the most ethical ways of clothing. On the other hand the people judging you don’t know that and it could inspire people to wear new fur. Also leather is nearly as bad and nobody would stop you in the street to tell you how unethical you are.

“A snowy day in NY town”….
Despite the fact that I feel bad for the people up north, these pictures are beautiful. I hope these ladies are going to find a roaring log fire where ever they are going ! Hopeless romantic, I am.
February 10, 2013 at 11:42 am
It is nice to look at these pictures in front of the fire place
Love the first one!
February 10, 2013 at 12:03 pm
Lovely outfits for a snow day!
February 10, 2013 at 12:09 pm

February 10, 2013 at 2:35 pm
Top photo most beautiful ever. I do wish I looked, and dressed like her!
February 10, 2013 at 2:50 pm
the only one who looks good it the woman in the middle who is fashion and prepared. nothing says fabulous like being properly dressed for the occasion!
The expression of the woman in the first photo is so very beautiful. Looks as though she’s praying. I could see her in the stained glass of a cathedral, or in a religious painting.
February 10, 2013 at 2:56 pm
it’s cold here !
oh well done girls!!…chic & elegant even in a snow storm
February 10, 2013 at 3:09 pm
The nuances of snow dressing are as unique as the individuals are!!! Brrrrrr!

The mixed-heritage girl in the first picture is so attractive – and the snow adds this vibe of vulnerability.
My heart beats faster!

I’m cold just looking at these! but they’re amazing shots

February 10, 2013 at 3:42 pm
Love the first photo! That plaid is gorgeous, and it’s nice to see someone eschewing the ubiquitous beanie.
February 10, 2013 at 3:51 pm
Love the abominable snow woman noir!
February 10, 2013 at 4:42 pm
I guess the woman on the second photo is Ece Sükan.
February 10, 2013 at 4:59 pm
In Germany it’s also snowing, I like it more than rain, but enough is enough for this winter! The shoes are wonderful, exactly the kind I like for me to…
thanks for your great work.

Love the coat in Pic#1 it’s adorable (for a cold day without moisture). She’s looking like, “forget the picture, just hand me a hat!”.

Adore! Winter is so underrated… how beautiful.
February 10, 2013 at 11:32 pm
Love all the snow photos!
February 10, 2013 at 11:39 pm
Precip, imo, requires higher-tech, at the very least to not look completely, uncomfortably, ridiculously fashion-foolish. At least have a micro umbrella.
February 11, 2013 at 12:57 am
Beautiful snowy photos! I wish we had snow in DC!!!

February 11, 2013 at 9:00 am
This is Elin Kling outside Jason Wu. She published the picture in her blog. Of course, mentioning the author :)
February 11, 2013 at 11:25 am
Does anyone know who makes the boots in the third photo?
February 12, 2013 at 7:20 am
In my opinion (and knowing Elin Kling’s blog) it’s Jimmy Choo.
February 11, 2013 at 12:20 pm
Eceeeeee! love your style
and Dear Scott, I was expected from you catching Ece’s style in NYFW! She is one of the best in Turkey!
February 11, 2013 at 12:31 pm
Lovely and funny pics. Congrats!
February 11, 2013 at 2:51 pm
I’m wondering if the coat in that last photo is a vintage monkey fur. That I would wear.
February 11, 2013 at 3:13 pm
Love the third image. What a great angle and moment combined with style in the snow!
February 11, 2013 at 6:41 pm
Really like the second photo! can anyone recognize where the shoes are from?!
February 11, 2013 at 9:30 pm
The girl in the first photo is the Japanese & Canadian-French model Marie Pascal.

Nice winter post …like the fact you added the snow shots here.
Shot some streetstyle in the snow myself this weekend in Amsterdam, which I’ll be posting at my blog soon. Was great …until it snowed really heavy.
You did a good job ..lik the second one. Monochrome which enhances the facial expression and atmosphere.

Hey! I understand this is sort of off-topic however I had
to ask. Does managing a well-established blog such
as yours require a massive amount work? I am completely
new to blogging but I do write in my diary every day. I’d like to start a blog so I can easily share
my own experience and feelings online. Please let me know if you have any kind of recommendations or tips for brand new aspiring blog owners.
