So into the layers – they’re great.

Unique outfit …alle those layers look great. Only mismatch/ dislike is the hat, not a very good combination in my opinion.
Looks like a studio shot with that background …and that look-like-one-source lightning.
February 6, 2013 at 2:30 pm
That … is some SERIOUS layering. I cannot compete with this :)

Loving the texture <3
February 6, 2013 at 2:44 pm
Such a unique style! So rad!
February 6, 2013 at 2:53 pm
I love Kolor! I have three or four pieces. Get more compliments on them that just about anything else in my wardrobe.
Love the layers, the colors, the hat, etc. But still not sure how one can layer like this and still be able to bend their arms??!
February 6, 2013 at 3:08 pm
The halter top is not working for me. Everything else is perfect. Hmm. Maybe that’s why you need a halter top?
February 6, 2013 at 4:16 pm
Seriously. What is that thing even trying to be?
The zippers. What are they for? Giant vest-sized pockets?
No. No. No.
February 7, 2013 at 12:38 am
Absolutely agree! If it was even a different material/color it might work for me.
February 6, 2013 at 3:10 pm
the layering is very lovely, but that leather looking vest kicks ass!!
February 6, 2013 at 3:17 pm
Despite the somewhat positive comments I have to say I hate it. Unkept I don’t care look that requires no thought and no effort.
February 6, 2013 at 3:22 pm
Outback…but the leather?…looks like a corset…doesn’t see, to bother him lol
February 6, 2013 at 3:26 pm
Not sure what to think of this style. Interesting.
February 6, 2013 at 3:29 pm
Texting: “How do I love thee? Let me count the layers”.
February 8, 2013 at 12:47 am
Great look and layers
February 6, 2013 at 4:10 pm
Is the outfit to worn out that this man needs a halter/vest to hold it together ?
February 6, 2013 at 4:36 pm
Is he layering with fetish wear?

February 6, 2013 at 5:50 pm
And HERE is a sexy man with a poney tail, right Scott ? ;)
February 6, 2013 at 6:09 pm

Hate the vest, love the rest
February 7, 2013 at 12:04 am
Ok, you cannot all be serious. This is someone being fashionable and not a down and out? People would pay to get this look? #losttheplot
February 7, 2013 at 3:33 am
I completely agree with you! Who would pay for dressing like a homeless?
February 7, 2013 at 2:13 am
Not sure what to make of this one … apart from the leather it looks totally normal, but that top layer throws everything off.

the master of layering..
“Oh it’s cold outside, so let’s go with layering!”..too much to me, a great coat and he would be ok.
February 7, 2013 at 4:14 am
this is seriously awesome, I’m in love with the hat especially. but his aesthetic in general is just incredible.
February 7, 2013 at 4:29 am
Swampy eat your heart out!
February 7, 2013 at 8:16 am
Whew! Dizzying layering and very cool. The leather probably makes it a bit much since it seems to be an afterthought, but that’s just my opinion. Brave guy and he pulls this off well.
February 7, 2013 at 8:48 am
Homage to Dexter.
February 7, 2013 at 9:10 am
I actually really like this! He pulls it off well and the layering around the waist is really interesting. Somewhat echoing Saint Laurent.

By faith Lord Seenmy, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper master of the jawnz; and they were not afraid of the Sartorialist’s commandment.

That VEST is everything!!!!!

i think it’s just ugly
February 7, 2013 at 11:43 am
I am wondering if others think that some of the runway designs this spring are also very unwearable? The thing I like about this photo, is this guy looks like a real guy, and not a 13 years old boy, that most of the models look like on the runway, and could any of you guess why the models, boys and girls, look like they are only 13? Why would the designers put their creations on such young people??
February 8, 2013 at 12:52 am
I agree. He is making that look very wearable. The models don’t look thirteen, they look like what they are; nineteen. And the reason should be obvious, I think. They are beautiful in a way all of us older people can never quite be. But older people can still look great. And the models beauty doesn’t translate to something looking more or less wearable.

Tenue bizarre mais sympathique : il a osé et c’est bien !
stephen mann (http://www.thenonplace.com/) looking great as always.
February 7, 2013 at 5:47 pm
A leather bustier over two shirts and a sweater? Wow. I can honestly say that’s the first time I’ve ever seen — or even thought about — that combo.
February 7, 2013 at 8:33 pm
God I lurve this! Even without the top jacket its great!
February 7, 2013 at 9:41 pm
That hat is simply fantastic! With a well-worn navy blue suit and a pair of Handmacher scotch grain or suede shoes, it would just be perfect.
February 7, 2013 at 11:16 pm
The bra vest thingy is really quite amazing.
February 8, 2013 at 10:47 pm
This look is just so awkward. Poorly done.
February 9, 2013 at 2:25 am
looks like an outback butcher on a mobile.
February 10, 2013 at 2:55 pm
I could never imagine that such different pieces can fit together and look so efforlessly sexual!
February 11, 2013 at 3:24 am
The layering, architecture of top piece, and ease all together make for the most amazing look. Love. Love. Love.

Yeah, layers are GREAT, but only if you are as thin as he is, otherwise you may look like a big, anormous ONION!

ccp. That vest is everything.
