You know who kills it in this denim?
February 5, 2013 at 5:10 pm
the second look is amazing! :)
February 6, 2013 at 12:08 am
Yeah… definitely looooving everything about the second look, the boots, the LV bag, the tie nec blouse, the knot in her belt…even her attitude. Yes, I think I just convinced myself to riff it off!
February 6, 2013 at 8:27 am
Agree. That’s the only look that works, at least in my eyes.
February 13, 2013 at 9:08 pm
Yes, me too. But I also love the forth look – a little more understated for me – I’m ripping this one off too!! :-)
February 6, 2013 at 8:32 am
Totally agree! I so dig the second outfit, colors and patterns are very nice and they totally mix.

Wide cuff denim : is that coming back on this season? .. hmm
February 5, 2013 at 4:12 pm
Not an attractive look.
February 5, 2013 at 5:08 pm
I agree…I am also a petite female, like some of the subjects in your photos…cuffed jeans make me look like I am compensating for being to lazy to get my over lengthened jeans hemmed.
But the girls in the second and last photo look really good!
February 5, 2013 at 4:13 pm
I’m absolutely in love with the look on the top right. Everything about it is spot on, so balanced, so perfect.

Love ‘em! I live way out west where there are still real cowboys and saw wide cuffs on their jeans about a year ago. Rolled up for fashion? Nope. It’s so they don’t get hung in a saddle stirrup or worn out underneath a boot heel.

Like I love the second look. Besos ♥ http://www.filtroretro.blogpost.com.br/

This is a nice way of giving a little “je ne sais quoi” to an outfit.
February 5, 2013 at 5:22 pm
I really love the second and last look. I am so glad to see denim on every fashion blog I visit today. I have always been a denim girl and love to see it pulled off with such style!
+1 for bootcuts coming back in style, I can finally put those back in my usual rotation.

I love to cuff my jeans, especially in Spring and Summer. I think there’s a practical side to fashion, so they may look a bit strange in Winter, but if the weather permits, I think they look great. Besides, I think there’s something very sexy and feminine about seeing the ankles, and cuffing jeans allows for that. And shoes. One can really showcase one’s shoes with cuffed jeans!
The second girl looks fantastic!

To cuff or not to cuff–that is the question
whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
the looks and stares of outrageous fashion
or cop an attitude against a sea of styles
and by opposing end them.

A cuff is fine and can look good, but it looks awkward and unkept after one and a half inches. Looks 1,2 and 3 are not trying to set a trend or do anything stylistically interesting. They just bought a pair of pants that are meant to be tailored and was to lazy to drop them off, and this is what they had to do to wear them. Look one you can tell is trying to do something interesting but is just awkward.
February 6, 2013 at 4:17 pm
Normally people do not tailor jeans. If they are long roll them up. They aren’t slacks.
February 5, 2013 at 8:52 pm
Look at the photo below this one. If you are to cuff your denim, that is how you do it.
February 5, 2013 at 10:51 pm
There’s wide cuffed and then there’s too wide cuffed at the lower left photo.
February 6, 2013 at 12:25 am
I love that the second look is a bit rock ‘n roll with those boots!
February 6, 2013 at 12:36 am
Its like you read peoples minds! Love cuffed denims!

In love with the second look!
February 6, 2013 at 3:26 am
I haven’t ever thought I was tall enough for this look…however your pics inspire me to second- guess myself. As always…much appreciated.
February 6, 2013 at 3:39 am
Does anyone know what brand the pair in the bottom right picture is? I’ve been looking for that colour for a long time. Thank you!
Bottom Right Hand Pic Jeans; What brand?

Aren’t those jeans perfect? If you ever find out where to buy them, be sure to say something on here!

I to think the second picture rocks!

February 6, 2013 at 4:27 am
The first look is so me!!! :D

Since you’ve created the “If you’re thinking about…” kind of post I love this blog even more.
February 6, 2013 at 5:23 am
Top right. Fantastic.
February 6, 2013 at 7:59 am
Love this trend!
February 6, 2013 at 8:44 am
the first look is just plain sloppy. I wouldn’t necessarily call looks 2 and 4 wide cut jeans.
February 6, 2013 at 11:38 am
So does this mean I don’t have to overcome my laziness and get all my bell-bottoms hemmed/taken in? Because that would be grand.
February 6, 2013 at 12:09 pm
I love the girl in front of the window with the blue … so gorgeous.
February 6, 2013 at 12:27 pm
Love the second look. Beautiful.
February 6, 2013 at 12:59 pm
I love the second and last one
February 6, 2013 at 4:40 pm
All of the looks, except the first one are nice. Some are nicer then others…bvut al are good. the girl looking into the window is my favorite. But the upper right hand look is charming in its own gawky way, although i wouldn’t want to look like that myself. I love the coat on the bottom left.
February 6, 2013 at 8:20 pm
The second one is amazing!Beautiful pic&great outfit!Love the shirt
March 20, 2013 at 8:03 am
Predictable comments once again. People still stuck in 2005 with their cliche taste towards the second outfit which is pretty much skinny jeans with a wider cuff. The first one is so much more chic and less self conscious and much harder pull off, which I think she delivers.
November 3, 2016 at 10:27 pm
I think the first outfit looks exactly like the JANGO raver jeans from 2005.
March 20, 2013 at 4:41 pm
I like wide-cuffed jeans when they are worn by the right people in the right way with the right other pieces, and I find something interesting in all the four looks shown here.
The second and fourth ones are maybe more “mainstream” now therefore easier to assimilate for most people, but especially the first one is lovely.
