February 4, 2013 at 2:14 pm
This bag is slaying me. I want it. While we’re at it I’ll take the coat, the slacks… and whatever shirt that is, the end of his sleeve is happenin!
Classic style mixed with bright colours and funny things like his socks. Like it!
February 4, 2013 at 2:17 pm
That is really cool pic. I really like it. Have a nice day.
February 4, 2013 at 2:18 pm
Obsessed with that bag! Love the blue shirt, the glasses, and those shoes! All the little details like the striped socks poking out, and the fur collar make this so special.
February 4, 2013 at 3:55 pm
hi there…. laura….
take a look in” progetto fede” if you like that bag…..
there is a new word…

February 5, 2013 at 2:27 am
Hehehehe he certainly keeps the eye and brain moving doesn’t he. If this were in black and white it’d be channeling August Sander as well. Apart from the !@#$@#$%! trouser length. Is that a vintage coat with an astrakhan collar?
February 5, 2013 at 4:58 am
Ha ha yes! Brilliant observation…
February 4, 2013 at 2:37 pm
Great style (I love especially the bag!)
February 4, 2013 at 2:38 pm

“In former times…”, that’s how the story begins.
Pattern of his bag similar to traditional woven from kupang, Indonesia
February 4, 2013 at 2:57 pm
Great look, the bag is so great!
February 4, 2013 at 2:59 pm
I love the entire look, especially the bag. Remind me the guatemalan brand Médium http://medium.tictail.com They got similar bags.
February 5, 2013 at 4:14 am
agree! Guatemalan bags came up directly on my mind as I saw the picture. :)
February 4, 2013 at 3:17 pm
Great Style, and the bag is a Progetto Fede one…
February 4, 2013 at 3:19 pm
Michael has an amazing style!! sooo cool!
February 4, 2013 at 3:31 pm
I know that bag…..
FEDE’ s bags are an italian brand…
February 4, 2013 at 3:34 pm
Ironically throwing together an assortment of visual clichés makes, I think, not a great outfit.
The gent clearly has a sense of proportion and color, but his obsession with self-expression and, by extension, complete disregard for the body beneath the drapery is – again, speaking strictly for myself – off-putting.
February 5, 2013 at 3:37 am
I think you are right. The upper half is okay, but from the waist down… the pants too short, the bag too big, the shoes too unpolished, the fabric in the pocket too arty and then the upper half is not okay anymore, too, because the proportions are lost and all in all he lacks nonchalance. (and why do people carry those huge bags??)
Oh, play it louder!!
February 4, 2013 at 3:45 pm
What a great bag!!

February 4, 2013 at 4:20 pm
Are high water pants really a good fashion statement?
February 6, 2013 at 11:18 am
Yes. Get with it.
February 8, 2013 at 5:40 pm
I don’t think they are – until it goes mainstream, they just look like pants that are too short, and that is NOT a good fashion statement!
February 4, 2013 at 3:47 pm
So interesting style ….. beautiful coat
Daddy Lele from Lelli, italian fashion family
WOW! I am loving the pop of turquoise, and that BAG. WOWZERS!

February 4, 2013 at 3:53 pm
I absolutely adore him.
February 4, 2013 at 3:59 pm
His bag and trousers are to die for!
February 4, 2013 at 4:24 pm
The bag makes the whole outfit come alive.
I don’t like those shoes treated so poorly, they give me a sensation of sloppiness.
February 4, 2013 at 4:36 pm
Ohh man.. great as always <3

February 5, 2013 at 5:58 am
I have such an aversion to big beards that it borders on allergy, and I can’t see beyond that to the clothes.
February 5, 2013 at 6:29 am
I’d love to have a conversation with this guy. He is super cool.
February 5, 2013 at 6:45 am
Love the look! However, I miss the Sartorial lunch/dinner! Is it not that time of year when it is due?
February 5, 2013 at 7:53 am
Sorry, just can’t get with the high-water trousers. And with a chesterfield with persian-lamb collars, bizarre!
February 5, 2013 at 11:52 am
Great Style!! interesting as is his bag
February 5, 2013 at 1:43 pm
Love it all! Especially that bag!
February 5, 2013 at 1:50 pm
qualcuno sa dove sono vendute borse come quella?
February 5, 2013 at 2:46 pm
The coat collar is Astrakhan ( I think that’s how you spell it!). My wife just inherited an Astrakhan coat of her mum and loved it until she found out what it’s actually made from. Makes ordinary fur seem less grim… Nice hat though.
February 5, 2013 at 6:16 pm
Way too precious on so many levels…
May 19, 2013 at 9:51 am
I couldn’t agree more!
February 6, 2013 at 8:34 am
Back to the old country….
February 6, 2013 at 4:19 pm

February 8, 2013 at 10:06 am
Quite a character
February 16, 2013 at 3:18 pm
Nice astrakhan, otherwise very lazy.
February 26, 2013 at 6:03 am
nice man….looks like gentleman….
somebody know whose that bags?
May 18, 2013 at 11:40 pm
I truly detest the entire look. The beard is ridiculously unattractive, the bag silly and the short pants/socks/beat-up-Oxford simply not flattering. Call me old fashioned, or call me an arbiter of classic style and a defender of traditionally handsome men – I do not approve of this whole “hipsterish, let me try to look as unattractive as possible so I look cool thing trend”. I much prefer a well groomed gentleman with a charming smile, handsome face and impeccable tailoring.

Is this the character Eliza Doolittle would have ended up with if she had never met Professor Higgins?
