They are sweet shoes—I am a vintage fanatic but I hope she didn’t have total vintage overkill–I wonder what she wore them with? You have a wonderful eye. Thank you for taking these pictures.
If I encountered this woman on the street, I would either turn mad and cut her feet off to steal these shoes, or keep my sanity and tell her that they are spectacular.
Just curious: what is she wearing on top? Or is her top half so horrific that the Sartorialist must preserve our sanity with his magnificent crop tool?

That’s truly a timeless photo. If it were in black and white, you wouldn’t know you’d just taken it this morning…wonderful.

The shoes have worn to a nice patina.

What’s visible is adorable.
Notice the soft knit sweater in the bag, too. With the velvet (?) and the patina on her shoes, she has a feel for sabi.
I’m guessing she loves the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, &c.

I have some shoes very much like this. They’re divinely comfy, and I always get compliments on them when I wear them.
But at the same time, I feel they make my legs looks about as shapely as telephone poles…
