I love the video. It is very clear that Stella has transcended his surname too well, which is much merit in the case of a McCartney.
Very good note. (I love the editing).

I loved this interview! I think it’s one of the best ones Garance has done so far. It helps that Stella comes across so charming and natural and down-to-earth.

I keep on seeing this coat on Garance. Is it the iconic 101801 Max Mara? Well, she looks great.

Garance was charming, yet professional throughout. Terrific interviewing, and an interesting, candid look at someone who sees herself as somewhat of an outsider in a competitive, snooty industry.
January 26, 2013 at 2:24 pm
Garance, you are so darn sweet. I loved the messy hair. You looked wonderful.
I always like your casual slightly tomboy style. That’s how I like to dress too. (Although I don’t have such a wonderful Stella McCartney coat. ) Interesting the discussion of how her dresses fit your body. I suppose that is the best thing about well-made clothes.
I’ve seen this interview on Garance’s blog and enjoyed it very much.
The one with Jenna Lyons and this one are my favorites, so far.
I am a big fan of Stella McCartney! She is so fresh and chic and simple, as her clothes are minimal! Love this effortless perfection! Nice chat btw.

Oh wow … I mean it’s obviously why Scott adores Garance based on the still photos I’ve seen of her and her work … but seeing the video was really great, to see her speak and interact with Stella. Wow! I’m captivated!
I’ve also seen Stella in interviews before, and I love how totally down-to-earth and approachable she is. Both women seem like people you’d want to have a drink with!
Thanks for this video, Scott!

this is one of my favorite interviews done by garance by far. stella comes across as very level-headed, easy going and keenly aware of issues women may have, when it comes to body issues, body consciousness and such. This interview gave me an entirely new appreciation for her and the mccartney brand.
January 27, 2013 at 1:55 am
beautiful piece of film.
January 27, 2013 at 2:26 am
I DIED!!! Stella played Yellow (Coldplay’s song) at the presentation.
January 27, 2013 at 2:46 am
I have such an admiration for Stella, not only is she a remarkable designer, but she is a remarkable human being not only concerned with making a fashion statement but how her clothing affects the people and world around her. She is her father’s daughter!

Garance is truly elegant, in the same class as Marion Cotillard. She is charming and talented too. I have a gorgeous Stella McCartney shirt that is a piece of art (timeless). Love seeing women who love what they do and are successful because of their own talents instead of who they married.
January 28, 2013 at 3:57 am
Thank you for posting. It’s great to hear from the designers.
She seems like such a genuinely interesting, kind, humble, smart person.
January 28, 2013 at 6:54 am
I really enjoyed the video. Both women are so chic and charming. I LOVE Garance’s coat. Plus, Stella has a great speaking voice – lovely to listen to. I like her hair and makeup too – very simple and unstudied, and supercool.

Two fine people!

I loved that both of these women seem so effortlessly charming and gracious, while still being at home in their power and in their bodies. Simply inspiring– and a lot of fun.
January 28, 2013 at 6:01 pm
Such a lovely and inspiring interview, Garance! …(I’ve been watching while enjoying my morning coffee, so a nice way to begin my day watching two gracious women). I liked Stella’s philosophy that the thing/s you want will come to you in some form or another when you define it and wait, or you work hard for it. Ciao, Linda.
January 28, 2013 at 9:08 pm
Both Stella and Garance come across as so gentle and lovely. I enjoyed this interview immensely!
January 28, 2013 at 10:52 pm
