i have this affinity for well dressed men. well, who doesn’t, really? this gentleman reminds me of a trip to atlanta. while exploring the city, me and my partner found this little fountain and some much needed shade. there was a man there, probably mid-thirties, playing with his carnation-clad daughter of maybe 3. he had perfect dreadlocks to the middle of his back, and was the best dressed man i have ever seen. this was 4 years ago! and i am still talking about it because that is how it sticks in my mind. this beautiful man, with his little girl, and his fantastic fashion sense. that’s why i check this site everyday. reliving my own street moments by living vicariously thru yours. i would love to start my own, but i have been scowering the streets of cincinnati, and it just isn’t new york. :)
I think this guy knows what he’s doing in the shoe department. He makes them look new by wearing them with this outfit. Far better than converses, oxfords or sandals.
Very nice. In Madrid this year, light summer loafers with wide jeans are becoming a classic. May I recommend very specially those of Ralph LaurenĀ“s vintage style, with George`s shoes?. Thanks Sartorial… Yoa are the only God I trust in.
I love it. Most things are excellent in theory and mediocre in practice. However , the devil is in the details and the look is bewitching. The hair , glasses and pose put it over the top for me.
I really want to be with everybody. But isn’t it time for some new way to be provocative? While I love a sports jacket I’m really bored with the sports jacket and jeans look. Maybe something other than navy blue would have been more exciting…
I like it. In my opinion the most inspiring fashions are the not “Oh MY! I have NEVER seen that before” looks. Thats fine once in a while. And you do see it out in the street now and again. But the most elegant and great are the ones like this. Sure its not unheard of. Its just done well, and with great style. Something that might inspire another person to try out something new to THEM. If you want the unheard of plenty of runways will do it for ya. Besides, almost no action on earth is totally original, so almost no reason to say it.

i love this look, it’s so urban yet preppy. so hip-hop yet chic and without the locs, i dont think it would be as cool of a look…

Everything but the shoes… they ruin the outfit.
Great crisp white shirt though…

Overall the outfit is good, but by far the shoes stand out for me.
