my sentiments exactly!

This is by far the best collection I’ve seen in a while; the proportions, the just right amount of absurd and restrained juxtaposed and working in a pleasing and plausible way.

Stunning. The hat, glove and umbrella evoke images of fog filled railway platforms in the 30′s. Beautiful imagery.

I love the leather/fur dark coat. Looks amazing!
January 24, 2013 at 4:35 am
Loving the eagle and mouse head, although they take some of the attention off the clothes!

Fall / Winter 2013 collection is getting very exciting at Berluti.
He got his inspiration from the Natural Museum of History in Paris – all about the genealogy of his own profession.
Artisanal luxury for the gentleman – oh yes.

Ooooh ! Yes ! This is really something ! I’m so so so in love with this theatrically staged fashion show. half-way between the “film noir” and surrealism. And the models seam to really take pleasure in acting somehow in this so well rendered atmosphere. I’m thrilled and very enthusiastic about all of this !
January 24, 2013 at 4:49 am
Their look are very Chicago mafia.
January 24, 2013 at 4:57 am
I don’t know what to say. Lol.
January 24, 2013 at 5:08 am
I don’t understand the animals’s head, but the collection looks sartorial and impeccable.
January 24, 2013 at 5:34 am
These are incredible! It must have been a fabulous show. I almost thought I was viewing Jeremy Irons in the photo of the model with the beard. The style / fabrics / props are simply incredible.
Such beautiful photos!!! absolutely great!

Finally! Real grown-up clothes for real grown-up men. I like them all except for the darn puffy jacket. ( They just had to include one of those.)
Imaginative presentation. I hope the bird head is for sale as my husband will need a mask soon!

Properly amazing! Menswear this season is all kinds of epik! Doesn’t BERLUTI look amazing on all types of man from any walk of life?
January 24, 2013 at 5:59 am
What I love about this collection is all the little details, the patterns of the material, the models bearing the face of a giraffe or an eagle. Each frame on its own is interesting but what it does is entice you. By the end you feel a part of this wonderful story. Who couldn’t help but be amazed.

Simple styles in special materials. I like it! I love the styling with the animalheads. Beautifull.

This is beautiful and classic and amazing. My favorite of the runway shots you’ve posted lately. Theatrics aside, the clothing is immaculate.

Fuu.. That suit is nice but the masque..
January 24, 2013 at 7:50 am
the impact of the masks !!!
January 24, 2013 at 9:33 am
The animal heads scared me! But gosh, the umbrella + glasses + gloves + hat is just too perfect! Love the 1950s vibe of this collection!
January 24, 2013 at 9:35 am
Strong, solid and consistent collection, though I’m absolutely hating those linty/fuzzy coats that seem to be on designers’ minds right now and will definitely not last.
January 24, 2013 at 9:43 am
If this is what fall 2013 is going to look like then I can’t wait!!
January 24, 2013 at 10:08 am
Superb collection and outstanding presentation….there is a sardonic hint of Galliano theatrics….There is something really weird about how this is in the box and outside the box at the same time… Whatever….the effect is very seducing.
January 24, 2013 at 10:24 am
This collection makes my heart go pitter-pat. So classic. So sexy.
January 24, 2013 at 10:30 am
The animal heads remind me of the climax in Pauline Réage’s “The Story of O”. It’s interesting that the designer made this choice, but I wonder why?
January 24, 2013 at 11:32 am
Amazing!!! So classic!

Such great inspiration! Love the cut, the fabrics, textures, the patterns and shades of brown and grey… Everything so nicely framed by dark runway and the animal heads. Thanks for sharing!

A few of the pictures make me think of James Cagney : 1930-ish gangster.
Beautiful collection with refined accessories, hats, gloves and umbrella, also very British, my dear !
January 24, 2013 at 1:04 pm
Gorgeous. I’m inspired even though I’m a teenage girl.

I HOPE THIS IS NOT AN INDICATION OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO “ARNYS”.
G W Strand
Retro reinvented! Elegant details and complex flavors, but carefully restrained to be broadly wearable — now.
If you’re wondering what this designer had in mind — just enjoy the setting & soundtrack of this Berluti film at:

Love the masks. Inspiration probably comes from Max Ernst and French movie Judex by Georges Franju : http://www.johncoulthart.com/feuilleton/2007/08/14/judex-from-feuillade-to-franju/

This is a strong expression of uniqueness. Edgy…and kicks you in the butt…out of your comfort zone:-)
