We ♥ Valentino! Handsome men!

Love it — the details are amazing!

I am absolutely blown away! This collection is pure genius in its mixology of fabrics, textures and tones – Perfection! Something about it reminds me of Dries Van Noten but with a darker twist. Without a doubt the fur is a stand out statement and sure to sell well. Another thing that rendered me speachless it that camo-houndstooth, completely new and ingenius. I have notice for the past couple of sesons that the pyramid studs and camouflage are becoming a signature and they sure are one that I’m loving. Beautiful and strong collection, congratulations!

I’m not sure that I am a fan of the leather around the waist; however, the bags are to die for!

I really like that brand. He has always great collections. Have a nice day.

Nice. I totally love the details! It seems that the leather details are staying in 2013.

Jean suit + fur … I die.
January 17, 2013 at 8:42 am
I agree entirely. But I’m not at the point that I love a man carrying a purse yet. A gorgeous bag+a gorgeous man = :/
January 17, 2013 at 9:53 am
The prevalence of tablets and e-readers has re-purposed the man purse.

Interesting point, but speaking from my own experience, I’ll caution you menfolk against getting lured down the clutch-bag path… dear lord, those things are annoying (& frequently pretty much useless). I’ve always thought that a good messenger or DJ-type bag works well for both men and women in almost all circumstances.
January 17, 2013 at 10:30 am
The clutch bag & the Obi belt are an interesting direction…
The second photo is very Sherlock Holmes….”Elementary my dear Watson”.

Something about the fourth look I really like. It looks so sharp and smooth? Some may think the first look is tacky but I think it looks royal.
January 17, 2013 at 7:51 am
love the coats!

January 17, 2013 at 9:02 am
So elegant! I really love!
(models are beautiful!)
January 17, 2013 at 9:21 am
Handsome, leather-trimmed bastards.
January 17, 2013 at 9:33 am
Aren’t the capes very difficult to wear for a man?
January 17, 2013 at 9:34 am
I’m looking forward to seeing men on the street rocking the 2nd and 4th coat…
January 17, 2013 at 9:56 am
Man purses are back! And they’re European!
January 17, 2013 at 10:21 am
Now that’s what I call style!
January 17, 2013 at 11:17 am
love everything sauf the leather “inserts”? i think they didn’t achieve perfection there, they look forced
January 17, 2013 at 12:03 pm
All the jackets are absolutely amazing. Love what Valentino is doing for men’s fashion!
January 17, 2013 at 12:05 pm
one word: fantastic!
January 17, 2013 at 12:06 pm
Absolutely superb in both design and execution. It’s about time. Bravo!
January 17, 2013 at 12:23 pm
I love the idea of “belting” a man’s coat to emphasize the waist. Very elegant, while maintaining masculinity. Well done.
January 17, 2013 at 12:27 pm
Love the denim suit and the camo coat in this collection!
January 17, 2013 at 12:52 pm
love the last photo.
January 17, 2013 at 2:37 pm
I love the fabrics, textures and use of layering. However, I don’t think that the detail on the cape in photo two has the appearance of quality leather. It looks like black duct tape that someone stuck on at the last minute. Also I understand the concept of the “man bag” and I love the classic look of a beautiful, leather attaché case or doctor’s bag. But the femininity of a little blue clutch detracts from the overall rich, masculine look. (I think it is edginess for its own sake. Yuck.)

They must have run out of new ideas.
And run out of cloth if you look at the second picture!! Is that duct tape?
January 17, 2013 at 6:19 pm
Simple yet with great leather accents. Love Valentino
January 17, 2013 at 7:59 pm
I wore a cape to work today and one of my male co-workers joked that he wished he could find a cape for men. I can’t wait to show him these pictures. I don’t see why a man can’t wear a cape! These to me don’t look quite the same as women’s capes.
January 17, 2013 at 11:38 pm
I’m loving the accessories!
January 18, 2013 at 8:06 am
Pics 3 & 4 are absolutely amazing.
January 18, 2013 at 10:45 am
Just shoot me!!!!!!!!
Where the men that wear these, I don’t see them, and I love fashion and men, so, please where are the designers that make great clothing and please put some on men not boys, for gods sake…
January 18, 2013 at 11:53 am
A real man can t wear those clothes …… if u ve got trained shoulders, arms, legs nothing does fit. I ve bought a Valentino jacket last year, mywife liked it so much, and i can only wear it with a tight T-Shirt.
Even a normal ( not too slim ) shirt is too much under this jacket.
Why do all the male models on most runways look like they don t know the meaning of sports/food ……

The strap over the hand is very cool, and practical, as in you ain’t gonna snatch my bag w/o a little fight bucko.
January 26, 2013 at 4:05 am
i want to wear everything in this collection! the 2 designers are making V more and more desirable
January 27, 2013 at 1:47 am
Who makes the sunglasses on the model wearing the navy suit, leather bound jacket.

In photo #6, is the scarf buttoned into the jacket, i.e., does it have a buttonhole for buttoning into a jacket? I like the idea and the result.
