Very funny comment. But I’ve seen some of the collection worn in real life and it’s actually quite fun-looking. It’s kinda tacky, straight-boy, mish-mash plaid — unexpected color and pattern combinations, very playful, bracingly masculine. The kind of stuff your boyhood friend with no taste whatsoever would wear, and pull off! Reminescent in a way of the old label Wild and Lethal Trash in its daring. Quite unlike the runway show featured here. If you ask me, Moncler needed to break out of its predicdtable status assocations. Is it me personally? Hell no, but I’m your Armani/Zegna kind of guy. And who wants everyone to look like that, LOL?!
This collection stikes a chord in me, my scottish heritage is something that runs deep and I love every peice. Taken off the runway and worn on the street; I think the kilted jackets and even the sporren would work well.
Looks like it was a fun show… those guys look pretty crazy… but love the twists… tartan Moncler… I am sure the Scots will love it…:) xv http://vickiarcher.com
interesting pieces…..the styling is toooo effeminate and it looks clownish and take away form the clothes…seems that way about a big part of this seasons shows
I’m very attracted to that double puffed jacket, the top part being a removable cape. I would love to wear this cleverly layered jacket if I leaved in cold country.
The coat/cape looks so awkward and uncomfortable, really just laughable. Who will wear this? If the Moncler designers are trying to update the traditional puffy outerwear jacket they’re going to need to go back to the drawing board.

I’m so anti-winter, but this collection is making me wish summer was over so I could go skiing with one of these fine looking dudes.
Great shots!

Moncler, is a clothing company of French origin founded in 1952 by French entrepreneur René Ramillon
from good old fashioned Wikipedia. It is however Italian owned now.

I stand corrected! (In fact, the comment works better with Italians owning French companies designing Tartan – even more global).
