Even the greats are in awe!
For me it’s like seeing you, Ines and Bill together on the street. Epic stuff!
Love the socks, by the way…
January 16, 2013 at 12:21 am
that’s a proper front line.

I love the expressions on everyone’s faces. I also love Steve McCurry. Amazing photographer and fellow Penn State alumnus!

what a spectacular photo

Total hunk in the middle is wearing seriously cool socks, and they’re perfect with those shoes and that face.
January 16, 2013 at 2:40 am
Total hunk = Alessandro Preziosi
He’s a well known Italian actor

Grazie, Nataliya. I guess I need to get out to the movies more often! He does whiskers darn well…. :o]

Fashion is serious business.

“Worlds Colliding” in a good way, not in a Seinfeld/George Costanza way… :)
January 16, 2013 at 12:05 am
I’d love to have their job.
January 16, 2013 at 1:02 am
Every one’s expression is completely different from the other….can you imagine the unfiltered inside thoughts that are going on inside those heads?:))
January 16, 2013 at 1:04 am
Seriously, who is the cool dude in the middle? Looks like he’s a foot taller than everyone else in the front row…
January 16, 2013 at 2:41 am
Alessandro Preziosi, Italian actor
January 16, 2013 at 1:40 am
Nice photo .
Don’t see the influence of Steve McCurry at all in your work .
January 16, 2013 at 3:39 am
Sometimes frontrow photos can say more than a 1,000 words!
January 16, 2013 at 4:45 am
Can I raise the question? Who’s the handsome and stylish man between the two of them?
I think he’s stealing the scene…
January 16, 2013 at 5:43 am
The guy on the left of Franca Sozzani is italian tenor Vittorio Grigolo. Actor Alessandro Preziosi is really well dressed, I like his socks.
January 16, 2013 at 6:57 am
Amen to that!
Can’t take my eyes of Franca Sozzani’s flats!
Ok, I’m a liar blog
January 16, 2013 at 7:56 am
Like Alessandro Preziosi’ style this time!
January 16, 2013 at 8:21 am
Steve McCurry…famous cover on NG Afghan girl…
January 16, 2013 at 11:49 am
Hahahaha I bet that Alessandro Preziosi had a major influence on you as well… (what the heck is he doing there??)
January 16, 2013 at 12:00 pm
I definately see McCurrys influence in your pictures. Maybe he was inspired by you when he shot the Pirelli 2013 calendar?
January 16, 2013 at 5:40 pm
I see the McCurry influence in your work now that you point it out. Or do I? But really its mostly not like anything I have seen at all. Which is great. Remarkable photo.
January 16, 2013 at 11:58 pm
If the world’s smartest snake wished he could be a stylish person, he would wish to be thisss guy.
January 17, 2013 at 8:53 am
this is a fabulous photo and the expressions are so… interesting! worth looking. hoping to see you in Amsterdam for the book signing.
January 17, 2013 at 9:50 am
Guess somebody’s got to have a dissenting opionion. I think the cool guy in the middle is not cool as he’s overdoing the cool-thing. Doesn’t come across as off hand and natural but as posing.
January 17, 2013 at 10:31 am
Great to know that Steve McCurry will be partnering with Armani with fundraising events for charity.
Steve’s new portrait app is now available. Great interview and interactive map.
January 18, 2013 at 10:12 am
uh, Alessandro Preziosi is beautiful on this photo
January 22, 2013 at 8:47 pm
Steve should be an influence to every photographer. He is a legend with an incredible body of work. Thanks for paying homage to him Scott.

I was at this show too – my first fashion show ever, invited partially due to my blogging of a serious Armani habit:
I have to say the shows are quite short but also a lot of fun. I did not spot you but knew you were in the area from the street shots on Via Tortona a couple of days earlier…
January 26, 2013 at 3:31 pm
No doubt, Mr. McCurry is my biggest influence in terms of Photography too… A genius.
