I’m glad the denim is a dark wash, otherwise I would hate this. His curled mustache and beard combined with the denim in this 3 pc format is a great combination of Old & New. The denim keeps this look current.
If the suit had a finer fabrication I would say it could be Joe Macheca, the head of the Italian underworld in New Orleans in the late 1800′s out for a stroll. He wore that same mustache as did many men of the time. Of course no stove pipe legs, but the fit resembles some of the old photos of the time I have seen.
Also because it is shot against a brick wall with no other identifiers, it could be any city, anywhere in the world…and any time.
I have to admit he pulls this off well though I’m not personally a denim fan. The hat and long beard give him cartoonish proportions but not in a bad way if that makes sense.
This look wouldn’t have been made complete without the well-groomed beard and the black fedora. It’s the details that counts, even with this “Canadian tuxedo.” Which he pulls off VERY nicely by the way.
This sounds quite pathetic, but I always look at the comment number below the picture to see how many people liked the photo. I was disappointed that this fellow only received around 40 comments but then I realized I never comment on photos either. Therefore, I am one of the problems. I think he looks incredible. He’s the kind of person I would stop and stare at and wonder how he spends his time.
the look is okay but the jacket is too casual american style to make it a proper suit look, stitched on pockets, no buttoned trenches on the sleeves, regular denim to go with it. good try though.

That…is dapper. It takes some serious confidence to wear denim head to toe. I love the rolled cuff and the touch of red.
