That bag is amazing!
January 9, 2013 at 8:15 pm
What bag is that? Excellent colours / style
January 10, 2013 at 6:49 am
That’s so funny – I was going to ask the same thing!
January 10, 2013 at 6:55 am
It’s a Celine trapeze bag! Looks spankin new to me…I once had a super hard time deciding between a trapeze and a luggage but got a tricolor olive-colored luggage with suede sides at the end :-)
January 12, 2013 at 8:24 pm
Hey there, I faced the same dilemma! As you, I got the Luggage too. I’m still in love with it. Boxing Day, right?? Happy New Year!

The wedding ring…..the hat…..great touches.
john b pritchett
The hat, bag and coat are great! But not the boots.
January 9, 2013 at 9:04 pm
Exactly, everything is perfect! Only these boots don’t suit ;)
January 9, 2013 at 8:22 pm
all so new and straight out of the store-i like the combination but
the boots and bag would look better a little worn
January 10, 2013 at 4:28 pm
Yes, I think I would like this better if the bag and boots were more worn. Love the coat and the inside of the hat.
January 9, 2013 at 8:33 pm
Such an interesting combination!! Love the Celine!!
January 9, 2013 at 8:36 pm
Who knew Tims could be sartorial.
January 9, 2013 at 8:37 pm
without the skirt it would be perfect.
January 11, 2013 at 9:28 am
I am sorry it’s actually a dress, but is what makes the difference!!!!!!!

January 9, 2013 at 9:03 pm
I love that it is a Celine bag and Timberland boots. Shabby Chic
January 10, 2013 at 6:50 am
Celine bag – thank you! I’m off to shop for one myself now!
January 9, 2013 at 9:17 pm
wow there’s a lot going on here! Every color in the outfit is so perfectly matched with birds on the skirt, pretty impressive
January 9, 2013 at 9:29 pm
I like the skirt…it really makes sense
January 9, 2013 at 9:52 pm
Missing the creative person behind the clothes…
January 11, 2013 at 7:18 am
Do you recognize who will be the brand?? Please can you tell me?
January 11, 2013 at 9:29 am
The brand of the skirt, hat, and coat is Forte_forte an innovative, fresh and daily use line. http://www.forte_forte.it
January 9, 2013 at 9:53 pm
I saw these shoes all over Italy, I don’t get them personally, the rest of the outfit is great.

January 9, 2013 at 10:15 pm
nice bag and boots! :)
Perhaps her regular black boot lost a heel or something.
January 9, 2013 at 10:32 pm
loooooove the skirt, and the bag, effortless & elegant, without batting an eyelash. And I love the tims! I am soooo in love with English style utility boots, of which tims are definitely, albeit ruggedly, in the tradition of. Thanks Mr. Schuman. Love it!
January 9, 2013 at 10:33 pm
I would hazard a guess that she is a travelling Australian! Great bag. The skirt works in a way because it doesn’t. Make sense?

I like the mix of lady-like and tomboy…
But those work boots were in style back when I was in grade school…and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to erase the memory of wearing them to be cool (and ending up looking a wee bit foolish)
January 9, 2013 at 10:46 pm
P.s. I like the boots, it works with the bird theme on the pants, something to do with hunting….the timberland boots scream American style?
It a mix of boho and funk-something an artist would wear I suppose-but who ever it is-the looks makes me experience a mild catharsis- and that I suppose is what the Sartorialist was aiming for in this capture?
January 9, 2013 at 11:07 pm
scott, this is amazing, a composition which can go into history
January 9, 2013 at 11:20 pm
Forget the boots – what bag is that ??????
January 9, 2013 at 11:30 pm
Love the tough-looking boots paired with the feminine fabric of the skirt. And what an amazing duck (pheasant?) print! :)
January 9, 2013 at 11:32 pm
I always love a little experimenting but the boots might take a while to grow on me.

This is one bold statement~ the workvboots with an enormously high end bag!!! Wowzers!

THE STEL STYLE
January 9, 2013 at 11:53 pm
interesting mix style, i love it
January 10, 2013 at 12:38 am
I loved everything except the skirt, or rather its print (it give the outfit a kind of grandma feel)
January 10, 2013 at 12:45 am
Amazing mix, love this style!
January 10, 2013 at 1:16 am
Love the mix of clean lines with a playful pattern. Yum.
January 10, 2013 at 2:02 am
Cleanest, most well behaved work boots I’ve ever seen, tamed entirely by their companions. I think I’m reacting the way I used to to pressed jeans…vanilla!!!!!

January 10, 2013 at 2:05 am
I love it! A “clean” bag put order into the outfit.
January 10, 2013 at 2:42 am
That skirt is very eye-catching, and upon closer inspection, very lovely and unique. I love the idea of wearing a long skirt with chunky flat boots, but I’m not sure I could pull it off so well.
The flashy lining of the hat is also a nice touch.
January 10, 2013 at 3:11 am
The pattern on that skirt/trousers is beautiful. The boots are pretty cool though I’m not sure I could pull them off with this look.
January 10, 2013 at 3:35 am
Approved in total: bag, coat, long skirt and boots

Love the handbag!
January 10, 2013 at 3:47 am
I don’t mind the boots, I just find weird that they’re paired with pj…
January 10, 2013 at 4:18 am
I recognize that hat band… I have the same hat in black!
It’s forteforte, and it’s such a damn good hat. I know everyone’s focusing on the boots and the bag here, but if you could just see how good that hat is in action…
January 10, 2013 at 9:37 am
Skirt is also forte forte.
January 10, 2013 at 4:27 am
Very nice bag. I like it and that hat too. Interesting mix. Have a great day.

Love her style!!
Oh, play it louder!!
January 10, 2013 at 5:08 am
Hat + timberland + wonderful skirt = perfect!
Find a decent hat is my aim in life…
January 10, 2013 at 5:16 am
I love the print of the skirt. But! I’m afraid Timberland boots, especially pristine ones, will always remind me of people trying very hard to be cool in the late 80s and ending up looking pedestrian and sterile in the process… However, this my personal view – I am sure this is a very cool lady.
all that money spent…..results a mess
January 10, 2013 at 6:59 am
the boots !!! spotlight of the whole outfit!
January 10, 2013 at 7:07 am
Yes to everything but the work boots !
Is the lining of the hat a tie ? Anway, great touch.
January 10, 2013 at 7:22 am
Really interesting look, the skirt is amazing!
January 10, 2013 at 7:56 am
“The new” grunge? Xo
January 10, 2013 at 8:44 am
The bag, the bag, the bag!!!!!!!!!!!
January 10, 2013 at 9:32 am
Great image,… all about the little details. The fabric/pattern on her skirt is absolutely exquisite. The bag and boots just add to a creative elegance!
January 10, 2013 at 9:54 am
Agreed its the Celine Bag & the Print on the skirt!
January 10, 2013 at 10:07 am
I agree with everyone – the subject line should be ‘the bag!’ The boots on the other hand look huge. And, my own opinion…these sorts of boots belong on men. Or possibly women… who are out in the yard working or doing some construction!
January 10, 2013 at 10:11 am
Oh I LOVE the texture of that coat. I just love knubby jackets like that.
January 10, 2013 at 10:14 am
Its tidy grunge. I like it very much.
January 10, 2013 at 11:49 am
I live in my Sorels, I love this look. Very construction-worker meets style editor.

Great outfit…LOVE the skirt!

January 10, 2013 at 12:16 pm
I’d go with the 8″ uncuffed Timberlands here… they’d smooth out that awkward transition from skirt to boot.
January 10, 2013 at 4:54 pm
Yes…the ones in the picture appear disembodied…with the uncuffed boot, one could see a nice pair of thick wooly stockings working well.
January 10, 2013 at 1:40 pm
Beautiful look…but the best is missina….
January 10, 2013 at 2:17 pm
What on earth is that? Really like the bag though!
January 10, 2013 at 4:53 pm
January 11, 2013 at 5:17 am
Not sure I like it – but it’s definitely interesting-http://carolinestyling.blogspot.com
January 11, 2013 at 9:23 am
In Stockholm 6″ yellow Timberland boots were… ubiquitous…
The last 4 or 5 years they’ve been overthrown by the Red Wing 6″ Classic Moc. I personally find both styles quite dull, but on this picture it kind of works:)
January 14, 2013 at 9:39 am
to be honest… interesting but Ugly. A nice bag is not enought. :-)
January 19, 2013 at 4:51 pm
Please don’t reduce these to mere “work boots”, premium 6 inch timbs in wheat are classic, must haves, a staple even. like chucks, clarks desert boots, or AJ12′s.
January 22, 2013 at 5:44 pm
That Celine bag though.. Aouch!
