December 19, 2012 at 4:40 pm
I love the sheer hem in the second picture: it’s fantastic!
December 19, 2012 at 4:43 pm
Love the look…makes me look forward to spring where I think we will see much more of this…
December 19, 2012 at 4:48 pm
All are interesting in their own ways but the look in the bottom left corner is my favourite because of its (apparent) effortless
December 19, 2012 at 10:22 pm
My favourite too, I like the feminine sheer against the menswear inspired Rosetti shoes and socks!
December 19, 2012 at 5:12 pm
mesh skirt bottoms and chunky boots are absolutely best
December 21, 2012 at 9:37 pm
There you go. Thats my thinking too!
December 19, 2012 at 5:14 pm
The first shoes are just amazing!! I want them! :)
December 20, 2012 at 5:00 am
Yes, but which shoes are those? And where to get them?

all the pics are great finds!!!!

Love #1, and the shoes…all class. The others appear a bit confused though have to give credit to their taste in shoes.

Please for the love of Fashion… style with care. This can SO EASILY look completely trashy.
But as usual these pics are wonderful.

Such a pretty hemline!
December 19, 2012 at 6:48 pm
I like the first picture, the sheer hem it’s done with taste.
As for the rest, I’m puzzled !
December 19, 2012 at 7:25 pm
Personally I just love picture the hem in the picture No. 1. Less is the hem hidden, more it’s sexy. I think it’s because this detail can’t be spotted by everyone in a crowd.
December 19, 2012 at 10:44 pm
M thoughts exactly-the first one is cool sexy and ladylike. The rest-not so much.
December 23, 2012 at 1:56 pm
Oh, sorry, I meant: “More is the hem hidden, more it’s sexy.”

This trend is so chic! I love it.
December 19, 2012 at 11:25 pm
i love all these looks…and just for the sake of argument–I see these sheer hems and shoes corresponding to certain female archetypes. Starting clockwise from the top left: the Fashionista, the Pixie, the Bohemian Artist, and the Intellectual Editor.

This is so subtly seductive. Love this hint of nothing. Has something so mysterious yet transparent.
December 20, 2012 at 1:24 am
I love this style. It gives an air of femininity.

Love the skirt in the bottom-left photo and the boots in the bottom-right!
December 20, 2012 at 3:02 am
mmmm not really convinced about this…but obviously nice pics! xo, Alma
December 20, 2012 at 3:27 am
I wasn’t, but now I am! I love sheer, but I always have trouble figuring out what to wear it with. It’s difficult for me to create a tasteful but still sexy look when it comes to sheer pieces… these ladies all wear it well!
December 20, 2012 at 3:52 am
Not easy to pull off, because it can look matronly if the other parts of the outfit are not modern enough. I love the outfits in the second row and here especially the right one, because it has a punk attitude.

I love the first photo!! Very parisian and chic style!
December 20, 2012 at 4:49 am
First shoes are just awesome. I like its color.
December 20, 2012 at 5:08 am
Oh yes, I love them, I bought a beautiful skirt with a sheer hem. Love the first photo. Great trend.

Starting with the top left, then clockwise: YES!, NO!, no, eh…no.
December 21, 2012 at 3:08 am
Oh yes please!
I think I prefer when the sheer hem is peeking out just a little bit, however, I do enjoy all four photos for different reasons no matter how they have chosen to rock the sheer.
December 21, 2012 at 6:18 am
This is a very bad trend, especially evident when seen all together. Clunky and unattractive.
December 21, 2012 at 9:34 pm
The last photo is the one I like. i have been looking for a skirt like that, b ut with that mesh all the way. And NOT black. Lovely shoes in all the photos, and lovely legs too.

very nice and classy. i cant look at another thrashy looking person anymore!
December 23, 2012 at 3:59 pm
HA! I hear you. You are lucky you didn’t go out with us last night. I wished I had sunglasses like the guy from “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy”, and have them black out whenever you were near a person trying to stick herself into jeans three sizes too small, bras that are more like shelves, and badly attached glitter everywhere. I think there was some gold glitter in my shoe when I came home…. Tis the season to be tacky.

Nice shoes. These are definitely ones that will garner attention of all.
January 3, 2013 at 10:48 pm
Love Love Love!
There are very few ladies out there that can rock a solid pencil skirt au natural (without the help of some spanx!) but the same knee length looks completely transformed when it’s sheer!
January 7, 2013 at 9:18 am
I love the first one!
January 23, 2013 at 11:45 pm
But what do you wear on top?!?!
