Hm. He has obviously paid a lot of money for his clothes, a couple of the items are recognizable by those of us who read men's fashion mags. I have to say the plaid and polka-dot go quite well together, IMHO, but I think he forgot the quintessential rule: put your outfit together, and before you leave the house, take one thing off. He could have created a similar outfit with more creativity and a lot less money. Jorge from WPB

There are only a handful of comments at this point, but of course they all state the same thing: the mixing of the pattern. That in itself just like the look is cliche. So, you mixed your prints… that doesnt mean it's cool or looks good.

If one of the prints was in a different color scheme, it would look a little more interesting. As well the fabrication on the polka dotted jacked looks garish with the fabrication of the plaid jacket.

Lastly, if this was taken yesterday in NY, it was way too hot for all this. Fashion is great, fashion is art, but fashion should also be functional… if you're sweating bullets underneath… all of this was useless.

I just don't see anything creative going on with dude's look here, he's just playin' (payin'?) by the rule to attain that streetwear-nerd look. At least it matches tonally. I wish guys could break free from that high-fade-with-beard look that's becoming generic among young (mostly gay) men. Also, New York, let's embrace spring–time to retire the Black Watch tartan until Fall.

Can't you all understand that fashion is for EVERYONE? Yes, now that we've got that down.. The bicycle hat looks great to me and it's always a breath of fresh air to see a young man (of my age who isn't a stock broker or an ad exec.) who puts some effort into his style. Great thrown together look. Stop shredding everyone to pieces, folk.

This is an OPEN forum for everyone. Each person is entitled to their opinion regardless of it is positive or negative. As well, your comment about ad execs and stockbrokers is stereotypical. There are many who dress very well, and who challenge the norm of their profession.

Mmmmmmmmm, poka dots and stripes isn't that the biggest faux pas for boys/mens fashion? Personally, I just think he'd have been better off with 1 or the other. He looks man enough to pull off just 1 and leave it at that, especially with the cap as well, it just feels a bit too much effort for me and he knew it too when he left his house/apt but decided to put on his best I'm a man's man face so hides it really well!!!!
