Justin, he just told you a perfect gift. A therms to keep his margarita’s cold! Your pain is over, but keep the flask for yourself. With Scott being so high maintenance, you are going to need it!
Justin, keep it for yourself… you never know when you’ll need it.
i had a very hard and mean boss few yrs ago, and couldnt live without mine.. i kept it at work, filled with kahlua… and sometimes need a sip to keep myself calm… it saved me from outbursts too many times..
Generally speaking, i DONT DRINK, at all.
ps – i’ve got a great job now, and even forgot where my flask is now… ;-)
Sadly, I have two flasks (can’t live without them). In response to Scott’s question, Pottery Barn once offered a leather-covered thermos. It’s beautiful and functional and I haven’t used it as a flask…yet.
These posts are daily reminders of how un-fun Secret Santa shopping could be for a person, except that Justin’s major flaw was in letting Scott know it was him in the first place! If I were you, Jason, I would buy Scott either a nice pair of leather shoes (he could never have enough) OR a nice pair of fingerless gloves that are made of a nice material that will allow him to grip his Canon in the winter (and while strolling round on his cruiser). That’s what I’d do. http://lordashbury.com
I bought a similar one for my husband years ago but he never used it so now, it is on display in my bookcase !
I love all these funny exchanges between Justin and Scott. More…..
scott, sounds like what you need is a thermo straw bottle/sippy cup – yes they do exist, but usually with frogs and strawberries on the outside instead of leather – is that not sartorial?
Justin, this is a neat gift, looks like it’s the perfect hand and pocket size too! But clearly Scott takes his frozen margaritas very seriously so go with a thermos, a little cup holder for the handlebars of his bicycle and a very long straw….
I’m getting a bit weary with these Secret Santa posts because they seem like a clever PR stunt to advertise as many products as possible. But hey, one has to make a living, right? ;-)
Scott and I love talking about product, both fashion and lifestyle. We do not get paid to talk about product. The only visible portion of the site that relates to revenue are the ads you see at the top of the blog and in the side column to the right. We like to keep the site clean.
We are introducing more product, fun finds, and lifestyle related posts as a way of adding to the conversation. Scott’s art of taking beautiful street style photos is amazing, but as a team, we also enjoy and look forward to talking about things in our everyday lives and our travels.
Un-adult? Flasks? Nay, nay, good sirrah! When I travel it is always with a flask of brandy and a smallish five-inch brandy glass. Nothing tops off the day back at the hotel better than a wee tot of Hennessey before retiring. Highly recommended.

Margaritas, Scott? Really? :) Try ordering them in a bar and until you get there you can drink a good ol’ whiskey from the flask. It’s a win-win!

These are super funny because we have all been there trying to find the perfect gift. I suggest: a ‘Color Me Mine’ margarita mug?
Just kidding.
