great story :D
December 12, 2012 at 2:37 pm
This way up… LOL ( love frozen margarita too)
December 12, 2012 at 2:52 pm
Justin, he just told you a perfect gift. A therms to keep his margarita’s cold! Your pain is over, but keep the flask for yourself. With Scott being so high maintenance, you are going to need it!
December 12, 2012 at 10:20 pm
Justin, keep it for yourself… you never know when you’ll need it.
i had a very hard and mean boss few yrs ago, and couldnt live without mine.. i kept it at work, filled with kahlua… and sometimes need a sip to keep myself calm… it saved me from outbursts too many times..
Generally speaking, i DONT DRINK, at all.
ps – i’ve got a great job now, and even forgot where my flask is now… ;-)

So cool and elegant! Hard to resist… ;)
Sadly, I have two flasks (can’t live without them). In response to Scott’s question, Pottery Barn once offered a leather-covered thermos. It’s beautiful and functional and I haven’t used it as a flask…yet.
Looking forward to the next Secret Santa idea.

If you need to regift any of these items, I’m available. Just saying.
December 12, 2012 at 3:21 pm
Scott, Scott, Scott, Justin has a winner.

SART man….. CMON!

These posts are daily reminders of how un-fun Secret Santa shopping could be for a person, except that Justin’s major flaw was in letting Scott know it was him in the first place! If I were you, Jason, I would buy Scott either a nice pair of leather shoes (he could never have enough) OR a nice pair of fingerless gloves that are made of a nice material that will allow him to grip his Canon in the winter (and while strolling round on his cruiser). That’s what I’d do.

Don’t forget the blackberry brandy (I keep a flask in my “winter golf” bag).

Such a great present! I love the vintage feel to flasks!
December 12, 2012 at 5:05 pm
These exchanges between Justin and Scott are even more entertaining than the Romney/Obama debates!!
December 12, 2012 at 5:44 pm
Margaritas, Scott? Really? :) Try ordering them in a bar and until you get there you can drink a good ol’ whiskey from the flask. It’s a win-win!
December 12, 2012 at 5:54 pm
I bought a similar one for my husband years ago but he never used it so now, it is on display in my bookcase !
I love all these funny exchanges between Justin and Scott. More…..
December 12, 2012 at 8:26 pm
These are super funny because we have all been there trying to find the perfect gift. I suggest: a ‘Color Me Mine’ margarita mug?
December 12, 2012 at 8:56 pm
Ha. I bought this exact one for my boyfriend for christmas last year. He loves it.
December 12, 2012 at 9:33 pm
scott, sounds like what you need is a thermo straw bottle/sippy cup – yes they do exist, but usually with frogs and strawberries on the outside instead of leather – is that not sartorial?
December 12, 2012 at 10:05 pm
Oh Justin, you’re the best!
He’s as tough to shop for as my Mom. * winks *
December 12, 2012 at 10:10 pm
Love my leather covered flask…nice way to “juice up” the juice at a moments notice.
December 12, 2012 at 11:35 pm
Ha! I just bought myself a flask after paying $10 for two sips of wine in a plastic glass at an event!
December 12, 2012 at 11:39 pm
These posts are really really funny and fussy Scott aside, giving us all great ideas. Keep going Justin!

I do believe a Garance Dore artwork might hit the spot as a Secret Santa gift???
December 13, 2012 at 12:23 am
Justin, this is a neat gift, looks like it’s the perfect hand and pocket size too! But clearly Scott takes his frozen margaritas very seriously so go with a thermos, a little cup holder for the handlebars of his bicycle and a very long straw….
December 13, 2012 at 1:12 am
This is fantastic, I may need to buy one for various family members. :)
December 13, 2012 at 4:27 am
Very useful!! haha its beautiful the colour of that leather!
December 13, 2012 at 4:35 am
I’m getting a bit weary with these Secret Santa posts because they seem like a clever PR stunt to advertise as many products as possible. But hey, one has to make a living, right? ;-)
December 13, 2012 at 11:53 am
Scott and I love talking about product, both fashion and lifestyle. We do not get paid to talk about product. The only visible portion of the site that relates to revenue are the ads you see at the top of the blog and in the side column to the right. We like to keep the site clean.
We are introducing more product, fun finds, and lifestyle related posts as a way of adding to the conversation. Scott’s art of taking beautiful street style photos is amazing, but as a team, we also enjoy and look forward to talking about things in our everyday lives and our travels.

For those of us who are ‘recovering’ this accessory has a few dark memories!
I can’t say it the 12 Step Gift of Choice this season!!! xxx
December 13, 2012 at 11:55 am
and what is Scott thinking of for Justin, eh?
December 13, 2012 at 1:16 pm
Its awesome! Reminds me of the days that we all went party hopping and my friend Ted would have a flask of JD in his jacket.
December 13, 2012 at 5:14 pm
Such a nice gift !!
December 13, 2012 at 8:41 pm
I like this gift! The stamped leather is so beautiful. I think he’ll appreciate it. I would, haha!
December 14, 2012 at 4:21 am
You know your an alcoholic when you use an old toner bottle for your daily flask :)
December 14, 2012 at 10:01 am
Un-adult? Flasks? Nay, nay, good sirrah! When I travel it is always with a flask of brandy and a smallish five-inch brandy glass. Nothing tops off the day back at the hotel better than a wee tot of Hennessey before retiring. Highly recommended.
December 14, 2012 at 11:54 am
Nice accessories especially for travellers!
December 14, 2012 at 5:15 pm
I want to know who Justin is! More about this new, flask loving, bad gift giving Justin!
