hey, on face hunter i just read about your “vitrine”-participation in antwerp! nice one! even though i didnĀ“t finish my studies there because i did not like it so much, i always loved vitrine on all the other projects that the ffi organized. things like that underline your influence on media and modern culture in general, sarto.
I LOVE HIS WORK YOUR VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE HAPPEN UPON HIM SHOOTING, HE ONE OF FEW BLACK (BROWN) FASHION PHOTOGRAPHERS WHO HAS MADE IT AS A MAJOR NAME IN HIGH FASHION, SOMETHING I THOUGHT WAS IMPOSSIBLE BUT HE GIVES ME HOPE THAT IT IS POSSIBLE FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME. THANKS FOR HIGHLIGHTING HIM.
i also love his work and i passed that shoot as well. i had to stop and watch for a bit. i love when they gussy up my hood. i live right near that block and they are always shooting something, movie, tv or fashion. once a shoot for elle had a city bus crammed in the elbow of doyers st. filled with one extraordinarily beautiful model surrounded by little chinese girls from the school around the corner on mott st. it was such a sight! but hard to get around and get home.
hey guys, just wanted to let you know that i’m a makeup artist working in Cape Town, South Africa. I’ve just had the extraordinary honour of working with Koto for a week…. His work is not only unbelievable but he is the most delightful person I’ve met in a VERY long time. He is amazing.

His work is beautiful. Was he shooting for a magazine or was it an ad campaign?
