I also thought I’d just point out that the staff at the store is incredibly nice–even to a scruffy, young-looking girl like me–and excited about what they’re selling. I loved looking around and have them point out obscure labels to me. It’s very much worth a visit.

Makes me excited about shopping for Winter clothes. Impossible to resist! I think Winter style for both men and women is much more polished than the warmer seasons.

Love the coat, those warm, earthy colours and the wide-leg trousers too!

Anon. 7:27pm…I actually did notice the Bertjan Pot lights..but I am doing the house and I am up to my eyeballs in Eames and Cherner chairs, Saarinen tables, Vik Muniz et-frickin-cetera.

I visit the blog as a respite from my task. I don’t think people realize how difficult it is for a woman to do midcentury modern well…in the midwest. That’s not sexist…that’s the truth.
