Love this – especially for the tortoise sunglasses which are always elegant.

what I like about this, is that he’s dress up very well, he looks casual but classy at the same time! I would define him a modern cities explorer! :)

Second that, he’s flawless!

Wow, this is a man with confidence. A man who knows that owning your age is sexy but that young fashion touches go a long way. I love how he seems to be walking with purpose, but still manages to look nonchalant. Great picture.

The glasses did it. I want a pair too.
December 3, 2012 at 2:34 pm
I love it when jackets have been worn so much that the sleaves begin to honeycomb like that.
December 3, 2012 at 2:35 pm
Good attitude, i like this man!

Ooooh that jacket is stunning! Must find sage green jacket for husband now….
Strive to Thrive,
Very strong I think. Masculine. The glasses have great contrast. Simple, I love it.

It’s not only the clothes, it’s “sprezzatura”, an elegant nonchalance.

He looks really great.

Parisian men are in a class of their own. You wouldn’t be seeing this in Vancouver!
Love the sunglasses.

Love the single-button blazer. Not every man can do this.

Love the olive drab single-buttoned, peaked-lapel blazer…moleskin? Combined with navy and tortoise shell (and a tanned complexion )–understated, casual but worldly elegance.

Completely agree (except for the “Combined with navy” part).

Nooo! I really just wish it were with a color other than navy–I’m with you for the rest of the comment (tortoiseshell, tan, elegant, etc). Didn’t mean I disagree with the whole 2nd half! (Hangs head in shame b/c of unclear phrasing.)

It’s o.k…my cats used to scratch me all the time (they had impeccable tastes, like yourself).

Plain and simple, and very effective as a result. What stops it looking mundane are the details; tortoiseshell glasses, single-button wide lapel jacket and coordinating trousers and jersey.
I wonder what he’s wearing on his feet? Black brogues? Hopefully not brogues without socks.
A man searching for style in middle age

This guy just exudes ‘cool’. Great way to capture it!
December 4, 2012 at 3:49 am
I agree – Very cool. Great style , which the French seems to have in abundance.

I don’t like so much T-shirt and jacket, but the picture is great.
Thanks for show us the real menswear.

I love the kaki jacket
Less is more ;)
December 4, 2012 at 4:40 am
The picture is appealing, no question, but I m not sure if it is appealing in a positive way. I think the guy is a little bit too sure about himself …

I want Mr Cortina! <3
December 4, 2012 at 10:09 am
What the world needs (among other things) is more color! Would that more men in the US had the – what? style? confidence? – to tuck a pocketsquare into a casual jacket. It’s the dashes that do it!
December 4, 2012 at 10:47 am
He always gets it right. Always so chic and well put together. Grown and sexy. Love the shades.
December 4, 2012 at 10:49 am
Why does he always wear his jackets so tight?
December 4, 2012 at 12:23 pm
Why is everyone smoking in Paris?! But besides, great style!
December 4, 2012 at 12:59 pm
As always with George, it’s so much more than the clothes and your picture captures this completely.
December 4, 2012 at 2:05 pm
Mr. Cortina! It’s been Sooo long, he always looks fabulous!!
December 4, 2012 at 5:53 pm
Love the jacket .. but the shirt is awful
December 4, 2012 at 8:59 pm
Make no mistake. This is George, the fashion director for Vogue Nippon. The jacket is Anderson Sheppard. Note the deliberate placement of the pocket, the covered buttons, moleskin fabric. He is a minimalist, with such insouciance.
December 5, 2012 at 10:53 am
Amazing! thats all I need to say..
January 5, 2013 at 12:10 pm
Love the glasses and jacket, but would look better with a white crisp shirt to match the hankercief!
January 18, 2013 at 8:29 am
colour are perfect together!
