How lovely that you caught her in different cities! She’s quite intriguing, I’d like to see her illustrations. I particularly love the second picture, very 90s.

Yes, the second picture looks like it should be a painting…so delicate and beautiful.

I really like the simplicity of these images…the B&W photo is very cool and charming…
Lovely monochrome with that midnight blue like bag in the last photo. I once shot a young lady working in the same spot in the first photo as well. Makes a great shot I guess.
Wow! Gorgeous photos!

Wonderful. I love her several different takes on head-to-toe black.
December 4, 2012 at 10:17 am
Her skin against the black clothes looks lile alabaster, especially the second photo.
In all three, this young woman’s style is classic and edgy. Beautiful.

I love how you show her in different iterations of black outfits…you have to look closely to tell that they’re slightly different. I hope featuring on her site will boost calls, emails for her work (PAID, of course). What a lovely career to be an illustrator.
December 4, 2012 at 11:28 am
Two disparate styles with the same leather jacket…a telltale sign of creativity…and in the b/w photo I see a resemblance to Garance in her eyes.
December 4, 2012 at 11:30 am
gorgeous, always love all black looks
December 4, 2012 at 11:39 am

I love these shots, oh to be young and so beautiful. Black looks amazing on her, with that white skin. She has such delicate features, yet she isn’t afraid of wearing strong makeup. Interesting.
December 4, 2012 at 12:42 pm
Beautiful. She has such a strong look and real sense of what her own personal style is…and I want it, haha.
December 4, 2012 at 12:43 pm

December 4, 2012 at 1:01 pm
The second picture is my favorite! She’s absolutely lovely. I love that the 90′s is back full swing!
December 4, 2012 at 1:29 pm
it would be nice to see sartorialist go somewhere other than milan, tokyo, paris or new york. why not baltimore or chapel hill or athens, georgia? or dallas? the fashion won’t be as good, but it will be different. new looks. new places.
December 5, 2012 at 10:25 am
he was just in south africa and nashville, so looks like hes branching out.
Although i dont agree that the fashion isnt as good.. sure people arent dressed to be photographed, but isnt that better? more honest..

She’s perfect! Love her style!
December 5, 2012 at 2:36 pm
The juxtaposition of her petite frame with the clunkiness of her shoes in the first photo makes an interesting and surprisingly flattering picture. The monochromatic look definitely works in this situation, it helps to offset the almost caricature proportions of her outfit. In all, she looks chic and elegant, and noticeably youthful, which is in contradiction to the mature and rebellious connotations associated with the colour black.
December 5, 2012 at 8:26 pm
Anyone know the name of the iPad case? That strap is stellar!
December 6, 2012 at 1:13 am
I like the second photo. It’s both sexy and innocent. =)
