It is the purse which is the perfect touch, you’re so right.
November 29, 2012 at 3:09 am
… and I rather fancy that bag, too! x

Is that T strap heels? Love every single edge and the body of the heels.

Yes it is all about the shoe for me here too. They’re chic and industrial, sleek and detailed, absolutely beautiful.

… and a little bit bad girl! They’re so high, must be tricky to walk without a platform. Super sexy.
November 30, 2012 at 12:40 am
There really is something so alluring about a woman who can walk gracefully in sky-high shoes…
November 29, 2012 at 3:23 am
Yes, the hem is nice. But brown shoes with white metal to a black bag with yellow metal is not so chic.
and her shoes, divine!
That’s a really glamorous detail!
November 29, 2012 at 3:24 am
lovely! but i’m also digging the color and texture of those shoes!
November 29, 2012 at 3:27 am
Everything about this photo is so right.
November 29, 2012 at 3:47 am
You’re right, the hem is super-chic. But those shoes… what was she thinking? Ugly shade of brown, rock-chick aesthetic, completely at odds with the elegant coat & purse.
November 29, 2012 at 3:51 am
wow! perfectly modern and stylish :)
November 29, 2012 at 3:53 am
Fabulous pumps and bag, absolutely chic!

I love the vintage bag, she seems so elegant!
November 29, 2012 at 5:49 am
That is a gorgeous bag.
It is indeed, but I immediately find myself zooming in on the shoes. I love the way they fasten round the ankles.
November 29, 2012 at 5:55 am
love the tortoiseshell detailing!
November 29, 2012 at 6:01 am
I like the contrast between the classic bag and the sexy trendy shoes even better. Does anybody know the brand (of the shoes)?
November 29, 2012 at 6:08 am
who dares to be kink?
she bloody well did!
November 29, 2012 at 6:11 am

November 29, 2012 at 6:39 am
I adore this! no women wear petticoats anymore, they are such a classy and feminine thing to have and adds a chicness to an outfit if it just peeks unders the skirt/dress
November 29, 2012 at 6:41 am
REALLY chic! I can’t pull off things like this, but I love it :)
November 29, 2012 at 6:42 am
That bag *_*
November 29, 2012 at 6:43 am
You are right her shoes are awesome as well.
November 29, 2012 at 6:52 am

November 29, 2012 at 8:29 am
Love the shoes ! This is a good summary of luxury.
November 29, 2012 at 8:32 am
The bag and shoes are something else as well. This is a great Paris look – I don’t know why but it could only come from there. x
November 29, 2012 at 8:33 am
Very nice style.
November 29, 2012 at 8:38 am
Beautiful shoes. the handbag reminds me of one of my grandmother’s old collections from the ’50′s. love it!

Oh, this woman pays attention to detail. I love the demure, little lady-like bag vs. the come-hither shoes (and I quote Usher: “he wants a lady in the street, and a freak in the bed.”
The sheer hem is divine, too.
Amazing photo; thank you.
November 30, 2012 at 1:57 am
I agree. I love the pleasing contrast of the sweet hem, elegant bag and sexy heels. There’s a mystery to the woman that is quite enticing. Wonderful catch!
November 29, 2012 at 9:22 am
Awesome bag. Love it
November 29, 2012 at 9:24 am
The shoes look a little bit too high … but the bag is super-sophisticated.
November 29, 2012 at 9:27 am
So feminine, classic, and beautiful. Well done!
November 29, 2012 at 9:52 am
simple elegance, i love that.
November 29, 2012 at 9:53 am
Sheer hem, bag and beautiful shoes….all fabulous!
November 29, 2012 at 10:03 am
The sheer hem peeking out of the wool coat affects my heart rate, too.
November 29, 2012 at 10:15 am
so chic yes, especially paired with the not subtle at all heels that I now covet
November 29, 2012 at 10:52 am
Every single detail about this picture makes me miss living in a fashion aware city! The hem whispers…the shoes (*AH!) make such a subtle, sexy, affirmative statement…AND the detail on the purse….yes right down to the detail on the purse frame/clasp (?) offers a sweet traditional anchor to the outfit. The shoes are progressive and daring and the lines and design of the purse counter a bit. Ah! Fashion. Well played!

November 29, 2012 at 12:18 pm
I think the sheer hem is tres chic…something that’s easily done on a sewing machine (rolled hem foot) or even the serger (three-thread rolled hem??). I’d temporarily stiffen the sheer fabric with a spray stabilizer to make it easier to sew. But it’s a hot look, made all the more adorable with those sexy stilettos. Whew, baby!

Not a fan of the heels, which look painfully high, but the rest of the ensemble is outstanding. You were right to call attention to the sheer hem – it could be easily missed, but is such a visual treat.
November 29, 2012 at 1:50 pm
I like the fact that only the hem was sheer. It’s classy, yet slightly sexy.

I, too, like the subtle sheer hem. That would be a great addition on a too short skirt or dress.
November 29, 2012 at 3:36 pm
Lovely and elegant. I would love to have seen a sheer stocking with a seam down the back of the leg
November 29, 2012 at 4:05 pm
I would not have ever done a brown shoe with so much black… which is not the point of the photo, but still…
November 29, 2012 at 4:14 pm
One of the best photos I’ve seen on here!

Not to mention the little handbag….;-)
November 29, 2012 at 8:15 pm
This hem is indeed very elegant in the most simple of ways, however my eye can’t but help fall to those shoes. They are just exquisite and really are the perfect compliment to that hemline.
November 29, 2012 at 8:21 pm
Love the contrast of the soft hem with the hardware of the shoes…ladylike – with an edge.
November 30, 2012 at 3:15 am

How great is that bag!? Could she be more fancy?
