how nice. the haircut seems as apart of the outfit as does the top and belt!
Stunning. Wish I had a heart-shaped face to pull this look off. So jealous.

September 7, 2006 at 5:16 pm

Muy linda chica!

Love the short China doll bangs and the short Bob cut. Yes, very Louise Brooks and that red cinched belt is perfect with her striped tank. She looks like a cabaret dancer from the 20′s taking a break from rehearsals. What a great candid shot. It almost looks like she posed for you. This could be an ad for Capezio!

Great pic.. I’d love to see a high res version.
September 7, 2006 at 7:09 pm
such a great image!
very contemporary, yet timeless
September 7, 2006 at 7:11 pm
my eyes are just drawn to that red belt. nice touch…
September 7, 2006 at 7:41 pm
she looks absolutely stunning, so nice to see a model that has a ‘statement’ haircut.
September 7, 2006 at 8:01 pm
sharp bobs like this are all around at the moment, aren;t they? i’m inspired by the pinky red bob on natalia in vogue, so i’m growing my hair out to do that! well, the style, not the colour…

The fabulous up-and coming model of the moment Alison Nix. The louise Brooks hair is a great new look. Are those her own clothes she’s wearing or Rag and Bone? as they are TOTALLY FAB!!!
September 7, 2006 at 8:08 pm
i would give my first-born for that haircut.
September 7, 2006 at 8:12 pm
i love her pose and her hair style. she reminds me a bit of the girl who played emily in “the devil wears prada” movie!
September 7, 2006 at 8:13 pm
I love the black-white-red combination….always classy. She looks very mod, but updated…looks good
September 7, 2006 at 9:07 pm
I love everything about this shot, her look, her hair, her gaze, superb!
September 7, 2006 at 9:09 pm
Whew – and a well composed photograph, to boot!
September 7, 2006 at 9:10 pm
she does look great! her hair is excellent and it enhances her outfit!!!
September 7, 2006 at 9:55 pm
Uncanny resemblance..her waist appears even more tinier as it already is, cinched in w/ her belt.
Very good look about her.

Sart, you are a great photographer, no doubt! But I would have to say that this new camera took you to a new level, don’t you think? This picture is so perfect, it could be in any glossy magazine or fashion book! Congrats!

she looks like Tony & Guy’s model. Very well could be.
September 8, 2006 at 4:13 am
The bob is back!

What a beautiful haircut…..She seems like Swing out sisters’ singer.

She looks a little like Natalie Portman in Closer. Great style and one of the most memorable picture I’ve seen on this blog so far…
September 8, 2006 at 8:28 am
She looks fantastic! Love the stripes and the rustic red of the belt. Composition of the photo is lovely too.
September 8, 2006 at 1:39 pm
My first thought was Natalie Portman in the Professional.
September 8, 2006 at 1:40 pm
Are the twenties next?…oooh I hope so! I’ve been waiting for the 20′s to come into fashion in a big way!
September 8, 2006 at 1:57 pm
If she had a white blouse I’d be thinking Uma Thurman in that famous Quintin Tarentino movie?
September 8, 2006 at 2:00 pm
Fashion ADD alert…I’m officially tired of this look.
September 8, 2006 at 3:08 pm
I love this, I love it, I love it, I love it. I had a haircut like this four years ago, but since I have a thick mane of unruly curls I could never leave the house without first wearing a tight hat for a half hour to tame the bangs so they didn’t go all fluffy on me later. It was too much effort in the end so I just grew it out. But looking at her, I am thinking it might just be worth the labour…
September 8, 2006 at 9:05 pm
This photo is exquisite. I just did an entry about the ‘bob’ trend. Love it!
September 9, 2006 at 8:49 am
Please, people! Natalie Portman’s look was itself a rip-off of Louise Brooks. She was the original! Google the lady if you don’t know who she is. Now that that cranky outburst is out of the way, I have to say, I’m jealous of her tiny waist and I agree that this photo is gorgeous.
September 10, 2006 at 12:10 am
Gorgeous! I wish I had straight hair so i could pull off the haircut… bummer!
September 10, 2006 at 5:01 pm
alison nix completely unrecognizable with new hair cut. she is the one of the “it models” this season. patricia scmid etc.
September 10, 2006 at 10:52 pm
I’ve seen some ’20′s-inspired clothes in the stores. They remind me of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” – remember that? With Julie Andrews and Mary Tyler Moore and Carol Channing?
September 11, 2006 at 3:43 pm
It’s a exact copy of Natalie Portman in Luc Bessons film Leon… With Jean Reno.
September 13, 2006 at 8:01 pm
haircut is so thrid grade which makes it so fun!!

Striking. My favorite hair on a girl. Or at least in the top 50.

Just did an interview with her!
Stunning, intelligent and an all-around nice girl.
