I like the tiger print much better than the leopard print, it’s so much classier. Who’s decision was it to make the leopard print a 40 year-old standard issue item, anyway? http://lordashbury.com
I believe the answer to that is Dolce and Gabbana. The leopard print is a classic! But I agree that it’s showing up everywhere and needs to be closeted for awhile. The tiger and giraffe prints are nice substitutes.
I think there is room for both. But leopard print is a classic, like stripes and can be worn any time. The tiger stripes are a wonderful new thing, but they just don’t evoke old time glamour. At least to me.
But these are fun.
Tiger Prints and Kenzo designed the much- sought after Tiger Sweater! But in that case, it’s a tiger face drawn but nevertheless, the tiger print have come in and out of fashion in the course of history.
I love animal prints !! They definitely made a come back this season with the Balenciaga collection ! I actually did a post on leopard print on my blog :)

2-4-5 and 6 : serious envy !
How I would like to mix and match these 4 outfits. I’m very impressed by the diversity of the print and the combination of a forest green lace dress with turquoise shoes.
On the strength of this I must say that I love tiger print where as leopard print now seems a bit tacky in a kind of ‘Primark’ sort of way! The skirt is just fabulous!
I like the bottom-middle one – the mix of the patterns of different scale is interesting. And since the print on the shirt is tiger-reminiscent, it ties in well, but also makes the viewer do a double-take.
I never thought I would like a tiger print jacket, but the girl in the second picture has completely proven me wrong! I will likely spend the next half hour searching for that jacket on the internet. http://www.whereartmeetsfashion.wordpress.com
