Impeccable taste…and a sense of humor! Love the raspberry touch in the socks…so unexpected and wonderful. The golden yellow tie and blue checks work beautifully too. It’s so great to see older people with such fashion wisdom.
Very wide peak lapel. Milanese style. The Italians have elegance down to a T.
This is how every men should look when they get older! http://lookbook.stylealphabet.com/
It’s nice to see these elegant italian men on this site from time to time
and Mr Beppe is very recognisable with his big smile, his infallible sense of style and his great sense of humour : the safety pin as a tie pin !
Let me me make a drier point : the fit, quality and condition of the clothes. The knot of the tie, the shirt cuffs length, the crease in the trousers, how the shirt collar sits, and, yes, not merely the colour of the socks but how they “sit”. The witty stuff is helpful, of course, to relieve the palate, and make him stlish, but the “technical” side should not be underestimated.
And magnified by his companion. The luminous skin, the jawbone, the hair knot, those glorious eyebrows, the cut of the jacket, her ring, her nail lacquer, the way she is holding her pen – fantastic. But the way she looks at him – while his every detail is impeccable – gorgeous shot. What a story! Thank you for sharing it.
Good afternoon fashionkids. Can anyone please tell me who he is? What’s his profession? He isn’t a designer, is he? Thank you very much.
Daniele, Switzerland
Will you LOOK at this man! I love the flourish of the pocket square and the high-end umbrella. Just read in a styling book that nothing undoes an outfit quicker than a cheap, three-dollar umbrella, which I’m sure would NEVER happen with this guy.
I want to be his female equivalent when I grow up!!!
There would be no better conversation than a conversation with that guy. From his cheeky demeanor to his effortless style, he’s one from whom I’d love to take notes.
I actually don’t agree wit the majority of comments. He dresses very badly for the shape of his body; he needs to find a much better tailor. I like the flair he employs in his use of colour but it shows no structure and often looks gauche. While his style may be remarkable in Italy, In London he would look totally normal, actually extremely conservative. In fact in British terms he could have easily bought all of these clothes in a department store.
