The light is what caught my eye too. I also love the salt and pepper beard with the brown hair…like…I’m comfortable with my age but I’m also young at heart. Lovely.
Why are men buying jackets and pants that are way too small for them and do not fit ? If this is a “trend” it does not look great and many will be sorry in the future when designers have moved on and we are all stuck with clothing that is way too small.
What stopped me here is the layering of texture and color. The waxed canvas, the denim, and the worn flannel are very appealing. As is that gray beard.
Love the layering, love the patina on the coat. I don’t care if it’s leather or waxed cotton; still love it. But i tend to think it’s leather. If it’s Belstaff as someone suggested, it’s brilliant.
there was some famous Asian artist [sorry but I can't remember who; somebody historical] who talked about the beauty of the ’100 colors of black’ ink. That’s what this guy’s outfit makes me think of — all the colors of black (although maybe the denim jacket was always meant to be indigo). With faded black, too, you can see what went into the dye — the leather jacket was mostly green, the pants have a silvery sheen, the denim is that blue so dark it’s nearly black.
I think this guy is the father of the young woman in the previous picture and they are txting each other about how completely fabulous they look in their layered outfits.

The coat is perfectly worn and broken-in. The detailed wear lines are beautiful. I wish my leathers have that feel.

The jacket is not leather, it’s waxed cotton.
Reminds me how ridiculous Ewan McGregor looks in the current Belstaff ads. Too clean, antiseptic and photoshopped.
This guy gets it right.
