Super hero hiding in her cover identity.
Demure receptionist/librarian ready to transform into Wonder Woman in a moment’s notice. Her wild side only hinted at by her shoes, baby blue nail color, and blouse. She’ll bring you to your knees.
Don’t get me wrong, the shoes are nice. But this would work better if the skirt was at the knee or an inch below. Otherwise, it seems like she accidentally pulled the wrong shoes out of the closet.
and then, I never know how anyone can walk with such shoes more than two steps without falling, but c’est très très chic! really beautiful outfit, with exactly the right amount of surprise :-) great love!
This is a wonderful skirt length, long enough to look new after so many short skirts but neither so long that it is overwhelming nor short enough to hit at the widest part of the calf. Knee length is always classic, but this long narrow A-line is fabulous and fresh
I think hair let her down.
And I am not sure about the shoes with this outfit.
I do like eclectic style but not in this case.
Overall it does not look effortless and finished.
I am amazed that though the blazer and skirt are both a bit outsize, and though the skirt is longer than I generally think looks good, the outfit still looks chic and fresh, not frumpy. It’s impressive.
Oh, where do I start! I love combining different aspects of fashion together for a unique style – and this woman nailed it.
Very tailored and polished with the jacket and culottes – this isn’t even a matching suit! – yet it comes across as an ensemble. The suggestion of wildness in the animal print blouse, but it’s buttoned up, all the way. The scholarly glasses. Then the sex-on-a-stick stilettos, with edgy colours.
This is one of my favourite ways to put together an outfit – taking an old concept of the “sexy secretary”, but upping the ante like this.
A character from a custom drama, set in the 1940′s!
Thinking about it, it looks like Via Mercato to me, not Sant’Andrea, which is very near the Piccolo Teatro Strehler, one of the most important theatres in Italy…
These shoes – which alone may not amount to much – just make her look so elegant and add something totally unexpected to this whole outfit – she looks just great! Good for her in making such an unusual style choice.

See, I think the glasses are too much. Shorter skirt or no glasses, IMHO.
But I DO like to see conservative office wear with such chic styling. It can be very hard to make it sexy and interesting.
