Whites and nudes most definitely in. And they said you couldn’t do this after September.
November 8, 2012 at 9:40 am
Yes, we could!!!! I’ve already do it today – wearing my white pants with a classic camel trench, feeling myself perfect ;)
And this is November here in Russia))
PS it’s like a challenge, isn’t it?)
November 8, 2012 at 10:36 am
Personally, I like challenges. And I like when Scott finds subject that completely shake up my preconceived notions of what’s considered acceptable fashion.
November 8, 2012 at 11:39 pm
I have to say I love both these trends!
The oversized coat on Garance looks so beautiful and she looks amazing as usual :)
Also, I love the classic combination of camel and white!
November 8, 2012 at 9:30 am
way to knock out two trends at once, Garance! :)
November 8, 2012 at 10:56 am
Right!? She looks stellar.
THE STEL STYLE
I really LOVE the oversized coats style!!!! The Garance style is very beautiful!!!!
November 8, 2012 at 9:31 am
Camel and white: I had never noticed they worked so well together! Of course a bit of a perspex heel never hurts either. I was however always into oversized coats, they usually keep you warmer and make you look mysterious.

It looks comfortable!! I really like that color matching.
November 8, 2012 at 9:35 am
This solidifies that me and everyone else in the world wants to be Garance :)
The third coat is perfect – there really is a difference between this look and wearing a man’s coat too big. I took a man’s toggle coat and had it cut down and it was worth it.
November 8, 2012 at 9:36 am
Love the first lady’s glasses :)
November 8, 2012 at 9:38 am
love the camel coat! going to Paris in 11 days…I can’t wait!
November 8, 2012 at 9:39 am
Love the picts! Nice Grance!
camel and white: you’re right! :)
November 8, 2012 at 9:50 am
I love an oversized coat – but i just can’t quite pull it off!
White is so fresh!
November 8, 2012 at 9:53 am
I agree Camel and white go really well together !!
November 8, 2012 at 9:56 am
Word. White and camel is so classic and classy. Especially in winter when everyone is in black, you’ll be sure to stand out!
Garance always so chic!
November 8, 2012 at 9:59 am
I love oversized coat! So beautiful!
Great on both counts. I’m really loving the return of oversized coats because I can now wear all my coats from the 90s again!
November 8, 2012 at 10:01 am
All white, I think, looks a little more elegant and chic under a big cosy wool camel coat!

November 8, 2012 at 10:06 am
OMG. Is Garance wearing the Maison Martin Margiela with H&M high heels? Or am I hallucinating?
November 8, 2012 at 10:16 am
I really like this oversized coat trend, I’ve just get one!

The camel coat is amazing, from the front and from the back. Simply amazing!
Garance’s coat is really beautiful and I also like the one in the third picture. However it is difficult to find a nice tone of beige, it is such a difficult color! Max Mara and Celine often have a nice and warm shades of beige.
November 8, 2012 at 10:23 am
Love white and beige! But how does Garance wear a winter coat when all other people looks like end of summer dressed???
November 8, 2012 at 10:26 am
November 8, 2012 at 10:27 am

November 8, 2012 at 11:14 am
Perfect pics. And they have so nice coats. Have a nice day.
November 8, 2012 at 11:19 am
I love the cool coats. They’re perfect for lots of luscious layering.
November 8, 2012 at 11:32 am
The 4th look is totally me. Like everything about it, from the short hairstyle to the booties.
November 8, 2012 at 11:39 am
Garance looks quite elegant. As always.
November 8, 2012 at 11:43 am
Love both. The oversize coat makes the figure weirdly thin. Black and camel is so amazingly elegant.

The light colors/camel combination is truly one of my favorite.

Classy winter style–Camel coats over white on clear, sunny days…but not when the weather’s bad.
Does anyone know who makes the sunglasses Garance is wearing?
November 8, 2012 at 12:10 pm
Thank you so much guys!
Jeff the glasses are Spektre.
November 8, 2012 at 12:18 pm
We love the camel coat of Garance! Its absolutly stunning!
November 8, 2012 at 12:29 pm
thanks so much Garance.
November 8, 2012 at 12:31 pm
I love those brown coats. Too bad we can’t wear them here in Singapore. It’s wayyyy to warm! :(
November 8, 2012 at 12:32 pm
I have never put camel with white. But I shall now.
Garance is perfetto.
November 8, 2012 at 12:40 pm
I LOVE oversized coats. LOVE them! And camel colored is also another FAVE!

Oversize coat..LOVE. I think the trick with the oversize coat is to keep everything else a good fit..I don’t enjoy seeing too may oversize pieces in 1 look.
November 8, 2012 at 12:54 pm
Agreed. and so easy to pull off each of these looks.
November 8, 2012 at 12:57 pm
I have the same wine colored pleated skirt as the lady in the second photo. American Apparel? Looks exactly like it.
November 8, 2012 at 1:08 pm
A couple years ago my pea coat was taken in a club and without any other options, I was forced to wear a man’s coat. I was none too pleased and thought it looked ridiculous and way too big on me, but I’m really loving the men’s attire inspired and oversized coats for women this winter!
November 8, 2012 at 1:21 pm
pretty much obsessed with all these coats :p
November 8, 2012 at 1:27 pm
I like that coat. Wish many people like them like korean fashion
November 8, 2012 at 1:28 pm
Like the third coat!!
November 8, 2012 at 1:47 pm
Especially love the first and third photo. Oversized nude coats are great when your skin tone isn’t to pale. Also think that oversized is fine but you still have to see some feminine touches!
November 8, 2012 at 2:06 pm
I prefer Garance’s and woman in last picture’s take on the oversized coat and camel and white look best. Both very clean and modern.
November 8, 2012 at 2:15 pm
The oversized coat in second photo is superb and of course Garance looks marvelous as always!
November 8, 2012 at 2:58 pm
Camel is so surprisingly versatile, but I agree with another poster, it must be a good, warm shade of camel. The combo with white is so fresh but I also love it with an intense cranberry/wine, lime green, acrid yellow, red, turquoise blue, orange and magenta.
November 8, 2012 at 3:56 pm
Garance please give me your Margiela’s shoes!

nice…very very nice…
November 8, 2012 at 5:35 pm
she is so lovely — always get inspired when I see shots of G!
November 8, 2012 at 5:47 pm
I love camel and white together and almost exclusively wear the combination from spring to mid autumn; from mid autumn I add navy or black with white and camel. It’s a combination I find to be classic, fresh and flattering all year round.
fabulous photos, my favourite is the one of Garance; lovely as always.
November 8, 2012 at 6:20 pm
I have a lovely camel coat from the 1940′s inherited from my grandmother, but I have a difficult time wearing it because I feel it’s got a very bathrobe or housecoat shape… lapels but no collar, very long and boxy shape, a matching belt that’s wider in the middle. I’m considering having it shortened and made to look like this: http://www.thesartorialist.com/photos/on-the-street-via-tortona-milano-2/ I love this coat and feel it’s much more versatile than the giant blanket mine is now. (I live in the Pacific Northwest and the length would just mean a giant sodden mess all the time.)
Would that sort of alteration be criminal?! Should I send it on its way as is for someone else to enjoy and buy one more suited to me and my terrible climate?
November 9, 2012 at 12:28 pm
Alter it ! Make it yours ! Chances are, anyway, that this vintage coat can’t be worn “as is” without looking costumey … or plain old fashioned.
November 8, 2012 at 6:46 pm
That last picture is perfect in every way. i have been looking for a coat that looks just like that, but not necessarily in camel. I just love that straight, round neckline with no lapels.
November 8, 2012 at 7:21 pm
Really love the last shot. Clean clean clean.
November 8, 2012 at 8:18 pm
Ha ha, I have my brand new white and camel striped (trimmed in peachy orange) shorty knit t-shirt on today. Love the white and camel combo!
November 9, 2012 at 3:15 am
Camel Coats, very Brando in Last Tango in Paris. White + Camel…Classic.
