The second pic is lovely, but my favorite is definitely bottom left. The look this girl is giving over her shoulder is like one she might give to coyly tease a boy who she likes, but doesn’t want him to know it yet. I guess Scott just brings that out in people.
My brother lived in Northern British Columbia for a few years teaching in a one room school house and he bought a beaded hand made pair that he sent to me in Japan. This brings back some great memories!
I think you cant compare Uggs with moccasins. Moccasins have a whole history by Indigenous peoples. They are very cultivated shoes for my opinion.
I like the 3rd picture the best. It is an authentic way to wear these kind of boots. I have also minnetonkas and I still like to wear them from time to time.
Not many people know that Ugg boots have history to them as well. They originated in Australia, or New Zealand, (probably both) and were worn long before the 2000′s. They are not a native creation as far as I know, more made by rural English settlers. Ugg refers to the style of sheepskin boot in Australia, not a brand. I’m still not a fan, but there is history. :)
The day I set a foot in NY (very soon) I will buy the UGG’s moccasins, with the warm sheepskin inside! I know they look like slippers, and that my mom would yell at me for wearing them outdoors, but oh well, we have this saying in Spain: ande yo claliente, ríase la gente http://loulouclouclou.blogspot.com.es/
I adore the first picture – where are her boots from? I have been looking everywhere for a similar pair.. reminds me of my native country in the arctic

I completely agree with you moccasins are the ugliest shoe along with Uggs. I think only Kate Moss can pull off this ugly trend.

I’ve never liked moccasins. It’s similar, to your stylistic stance on cowboy boots. Here, however, they look hip.
