Thanks for the great Dries photos over the last few days. I love his take on Black & White. And, you are so right that these clothes look very wearable.
hot and elegant is right….she has good height and shape..that helps alongwith great legs too. Black definitely nver grow old …if you know what to do with it..
I’m happy to see this photo — I think the black tights/black pointy pumps combo is very flattering. Until seeing this endorsement by you, Sart, I would have avoided the combo as outdated– everyone seems to be wearing their tights with open-toed frankenplatforms (as tamberk aptly describes them). What does everyone think? Would this look have been improved by the newer shoe?
Response to shoe question: I vote anti-platform here. Funky chunky platforms would make her trendy – the sleek sexy classic pumps she’s wearing projects the classy broad image she clearly embodies. And “those LEGS!” would be cut off in a chunky shoe rather than elongated into one continuous line of sexiness.
Wow, she looks wonderful. So chic and classic, and that’s why I think her shoes work so well. She has a dancer’s body, and she knows how to dress to best set it off. Sexy, but age-appropriate.
i ssaw her qt the shows the shoe was the louboutin hotest shoe boot definately not a classic pump : she was as hot as hell in the balenciaga puff skirt :shes the sexist woman on the front rows : a thousand dollars to any one that can set me up : she has an amazing smile = love her
Who is this Anna Wintour look-a-like? I think I’ve seen her – or another Wintour-double – a few times before on the Sartorialist at other shows in the past. She does look great, though.
Again great style – it is true I get to see lots of stylish ladies awhen I visit Paris… She looks amazing and sexy. The shoes are a refreshing sight aftr the heavy ones in style recently…
Those shoes are the Louboitin “Lastic” ankle boot (bootie, whatever) and not a pump. The black tights/black ankle boots look is already played out. NEXT!
I can not tolerate 4″ heels. -Unless I’m in a wheelchair- …these shoes have 4″ heels!! It makes -some people- very glamorous, BUT only if like you don’t walk.
This is a slam dunk! Hot sexy Mama! I love that she’s a woman, confident, sexy and alluring. What great legs and those BOOTIES! Really nice. This shot made my day. Thanks Scott.
that’s sarah rutson, the fashion director of a Hong Kong boutique – she’s going to be in American Vogue in November or December I think and she is SO NICE on top of having amazing style.
She is the Fashion Director at Lane Crawford Hong Kong, check out their website…their stores are divine, best selection of designer collections in Asia!
This vision of fabulosity was also captured by Bill Cunni ngham in the NY Times Style section on Sunday, October 15. She’s standing in full-on sun so you can see the details of the outfit and the Louboutins more clearly. However Sartorialist, your photo is more aesthetically pleasing.
You made some respectable points there. I regarded on the internet for the problem and located most individuals will associate with along with your website.

I like the fact that you put her on a “pedestal” by making her stand on the white square. she’s really stunning…

Wintour look alike? that is a very narrow view on individuals. Ana W. is not like the only woman in her 50′s with a bob: I desagree.

Re: the shoe was the louboutin hottest shoe boot . . .
Wow, I couldn’t see this from the picture. Imagining the little flash of red from the sole of the shoe takes this to even new heights.
