I love this look. It is one of the few outfits I’ve seen in which someone manages to wear the super!trendy leggings and gigantic glasses without looking disgustingly hipster
shoes are very sexy …would you call that a T-strap sandal…not sure. oversized bag done very nicely too …i always seem to think the “proportionality” with respec to one’s size is impportant with the big bag …..as they you should wear the bag ….not Vice Versa.
this look…she looks young for the attire. I think she is trying to look formal, but her clothes are clashing with her age, maybe that is what makes her outstanding. A very strict look in my opinion: not fun.
These European women are sooo “put together,” I love it. It seems to be about finding items that actually fit your body type as opposed to rocking a popular style.
There’s alot to take from this and really being in touch with what works with your frame. I hope I see more of that here in the states.
uh, drop crotch pants are fine in real life??? She may have made them work as well as possible, but neauseating images of wet nappies and/or MC Hammer still come first to my mind.
I like it all _except_ the huge bag – it’s so heavy that she actually is canted to the other side to counterbalance the weight of it! What has she got in there? Rocks? Bricks? War and Peace?
the terrycloth coat on style.com is my favorite image so far from your trip to europe. as i posted there, i can’t get those vivid prints of the ’70s off of my mind these days, but they were always done in silk jersey or wool, or those synthetics that i have no desire to revisit, but the terrycloth idea is so funny and fabulous and downright (dare i say it?) PRETTY. she looks great — the tight chignon is perfect. i even love the enormous bag, and no clunky platforms! if i were to steal just one look from the candy box you have provided us of late, sart, this would be it. oh, and maybe the lucite necklace and red lips a la andree putman.
Great lady and great styling! I love the fact that the jacket is cheap – it is proof that you do not have to pay too much to be stylish – you either have it or not!
I hope you don’t mind, I linked the picture in my own blog, I was talking about leggings two days ago and was at a loss to find a really nice photo to go with my text. And this one is a fine shot!
(I paid proper respect to your blog, I’m a huge fan of your photos, although a silent one up to this point, but if you do mind my using your picture, please just let me know and I’ll remove it, and just leave a link to your message here)
The proportion of the short jacket, the flared skirt with leggings, the T-strap patent shoes and the brown bag. Ugh, she’s killing me. Fab all around. I want her as my customer.
Wonderful!! … great hair, great glasses, great jacket, great skirt, great leggings, and great shoes. The total look rocks, and the leggings save what wouldn’t have been a good skirt length for her.

She looks so cute. I love her hair up-do going well with the outfit. She looks a bit like Oslen twins. But she looks really adorable.

She looks fantastic, but I am so sick of seeing leggings everywhere. Otherwise, she’s perfect. Anyone know what bag that is?
