Many things look better against the limstone buildings of Paris – limestone was selected becuase it rains so much and it glistens in the rain and looks warm in the sun.

That is really interesting…the limestone does seem to lend itself nicely to every aesthetic laid against it. What I love about this woman’s outfit is the mix of masculine and feminine accents, and her casual but confident relationship with the camera. Very cool.

i love her miu miu shades :)
November 7, 2012 at 10:58 pm
I do too. They look so great on her face. They just fit her perfectly.
October 31, 2012 at 12:49 pm
I agree – limestone is a great backdrop! Also can we talk about her gold headphones? Love them.
October 31, 2012 at 9:48 am
Scott, I love the contrast of the white surrounding her suit a subtle fierceness to this…great style!
October 31, 2012 at 10:47 am
I love the contrast as weil, it’s sublime!
October 31, 2012 at 9:59 am
Keeping the tones all in the same lane is a sure-fire, can’t miss way to go.
Gold through the glasses, headphones, shirt (?), buckles on the bag and socks. Perfect.

so nice fur !
Style begins at forty
October 31, 2012 at 10:16 am
I love the contrast!
October 31, 2012 at 10:18 am
Fantastic how she rocks the masculine look! Her hair complements and balances the look wonderfully. Love the touch of fur on the jacket. Really, really great look!
October 31, 2012 at 10:20 am
Love this menswear inspired outfit!
Wow love the suit, cropped pants with great socks and Flats…you’re right the printed blouse against the menswear patterned suit is great, let alone her accessories….what you expect from the streets of Paris!

Eclectic beauty! LOVE your composition!!
October 31, 2012 at 10:24 am
We love the contrast between the feminity of this woman and her masculine outfit. Beautiful glasses.

Gosh, I didn’t even notice the socks, shoes…to me it’s all about how her platinum hair blends in with her faux fur wrap. Even her sunglasses match! She looks very Gwen Stefani in this ensemble.
October 31, 2012 at 10:31 am
I liked the socks and the shoes most.
October 31, 2012 at 10:36 am
The whole thing works. Would not be my thing from the shoulders up, but definitely:
Really, those shades are putting it out there.
Otherwise, phantastic look.
October 31, 2012 at 10:39 am
a super cool dude-ette. Great shot, brilliant styling.
October 31, 2012 at 10:46 am
Now that’s a traffic-stopping look. Can’t help but think of it as a great example of badass Parisian style.
October 31, 2012 at 10:57 am
Daring style with good taste – love it!
October 31, 2012 at 10:59 am
A woman comfortable in her own skin–like Portia de Rossi.
October 31, 2012 at 11:03 am
So many interesting elements: a more “masculine” tailored suit with an elegant oversized fur collar and let’s not forget the playful eye wear and headphones. 50′s meets contemporary. Love it all.
October 31, 2012 at 11:05 am
That is some SERIOUS swag. LOVE it! The fur – I am in LOVE!

I usually really dislike the look of light colored frames on sunglasses, but because she’s blonde I think it works really well. Plus they are an interesting shape of frame, so that makes them more interesting as well.
October 31, 2012 at 11:07 am
So chic, she looks amazing.
October 31, 2012 at 11:13 am
To be honest I think the accessorizing with the headphones was the best touch!
October 31, 2012 at 11:14 am
Wow ! That’s something ! I love everything but the hair. But it certainly has character.
October 31, 2012 at 11:15 am
This is amazing.

70′s pimp look (and on a woman !) unusual but it work on her!
Nice, I love people who takes risk.

Is she French ?? I have doubts… Like all the golden details with flowers and stripes but i don’t like the suit.
October 31, 2012 at 12:19 pm
Well this is perfect! Love how the masculine and feminine elements hug each other to be the perfect look!
October 31, 2012 at 12:26 pm

I love manly style!
October 31, 2012 at 12:53 pm
They are gold RHA SA-950i headphones! They are in gloss black from Apple stores and rha-audio.com now. Great style
October 31, 2012 at 1:19 pm
She looks great. I like the fur.
October 31, 2012 at 1:25 pm
Oh my god! I love this shot. What a fabulous take on the style of men’s wear, done beautifully on a woman.
And the socks! The shoes! I was expecting heels and delight in these dapper shoes. And that mink!
October 31, 2012 at 1:31 pm
Mani-sh beauty! Those shoes kill me.
October 31, 2012 at 1:51 pm
a brilliant statement. so many wonderful elements, combined with panache.
The fur collar, hair color and sunnies are what I’m liking most with this man’s suit. I think I like menswear on women when there’s still evidence of a woman living in the clothes. I beleive the shoes are the thing that pushes this look into undesired territory for me.

Thinking Uma Thruman….straight out of Pulp Fiction! Hot!!
October 31, 2012 at 3:52 pm
Amazing outfit! I love the top so feminine with the fur, and the bottom with the man’s shoes! Great contrast!
October 31, 2012 at 4:23 pm
There’s a harmony to that contrast of floral/graphic prints; it results from the flow of golden hues from the hair on down: the frame of the sunnies, the fur, the headphones, the print, the headphone cord, the lines on the socks. And the herringbone lines of the tailored suit just keep the energy flowing…straight to those fine shoes.
October 31, 2012 at 4:29 pm
The masculine suit, platinum hair and fur make me think of Marlene Dietrich.
By the way, it’s rue de Rivoli.
October 31, 2012 at 6:58 pm
Like a character out of a Tarantino movie
Wendy Carlos Williams
October 31, 2012 at 7:42 pm
I would love to see a closeup of her shoes. Who made them?
October 31, 2012 at 8:20 pm
like if margot tenenbaum were more badass/less depressive
October 31, 2012 at 8:30 pm
brain just exploded from the shirt + socks and the hair color + shades + headphones

Even better WITHOUT the fur!

November 1, 2012 at 6:15 am
I love her eccentric style. I like that she paired this otherwise feminine floral top and fur shoal with a men’s suit. Belongs in the streets of paris, indeed.
November 1, 2012 at 8:36 am
The over-the-top glasses and fur are silly in my opinion.
But the shoes are absolutely divine.
I would kill to be able to afford those. Try finding a pair of classy oxford or monkstrap, mens-wear flats in a woman’s size for less than a month’s salary. It’s hard – I’ve been trying for close to a year.
November 1, 2012 at 1:54 pm
For the shoes, try Nordstrom Rack men’s department. They often have beautiful oxfords in very small men’s sizes, that would fit a woman.
November 1, 2012 at 9:17 am
Fabulous… she looks wonderful… Great shots as always… Thank you… xv
November 1, 2012 at 7:07 pm
I think this may be the coolest woman I have ever seen.
November 2, 2012 at 12:27 am
Love the complete mix …. right down to the splash of metallic purple nail polish.
November 2, 2012 at 11:54 am
Fantabulissimo!! Every single thing.
Please note where the waistline of the pants are! Oh, someone in Toronto, please provide pants like these. I am so tired of the low rise.
November 3, 2012 at 11:11 pm
Am also a huge fan of contrasting patterns!
November 3, 2012 at 11:33 pm
I really love how the fur blends into the sky and gives the whole picture a connection with the modern yet natural world. I also love how the sunglasses represent her face (round, yet linear). The headphones give her a more free spirited music producer, while the suit represents her as a business woman of sophisticated class. Beautiful picture! As all the rest!
November 7, 2012 at 4:53 am
bowie should be so proud
November 7, 2012 at 10:59 pm
Yes indeed. Love her pantsuit, love her hair, and the way she is posing. And her shoes…and well a lot of stuff.
November 9, 2012 at 3:57 pm
This picture states……confidence! I love it all except the fur. She is rocking the outfit. My all the best though is the freaking shoes! They are hot!!!
