The short hair + those outfits = personally, I’m not a fan
October 26, 2012 at 9:11 pm
Usually I would agree with you, but I have to say the outfit on the left looks so Parisian chic! I love it, and the haircut adds some androgeny to it which is the perfect touch!
October 27, 2012 at 3:24 am
i love this don’t-try-hard kind of look! :)
October 27, 2012 at 8:10 pm
I can see where you’re coming from. But I think these girls look great with short hair. Gives them a certian “edge”.

October 26, 2012 at 8:29 pm
They create a fantastic silhouette – & a great opportunity for a statement belt.
October 26, 2012 at 4:19 pm
I love the left outfit! She wears it best.
October 29, 2012 at 11:52 am
Reminds me that flat-front loose khakis [left] might be easier to work than the pleated fronts.

Love the Third look!
October 26, 2012 at 4:26 pm
I really like the way they look. Casual and simple and the tops paired with them in these photos really set them apart.
October 26, 2012 at 4:29 pm
seems to look best on women with a boy cut!
October 26, 2012 at 4:35 pm
They look great. I’d like to wear something like that. Too bad, I’m really short.
October 26, 2012 at 4:36 pm
Love them, especially in the third photo :)

Really thanks for these inspirartional shots! I love these kind of trousers!
October 26, 2012 at 4:43 pm
I don’t like baggy khakis. Love the shoes first piks.
October 26, 2012 at 4:48 pm
Shoes make the difference.
October 26, 2012 at 4:49 pm
I adore the girl in the middle. From her hair cut, to her feather collar, to her cute little expression…perfect!
October 26, 2012 at 4:54 pm
I like all three styles, but can any body type wear the baggy pants ? On the pictures, these women are long and thin which definitely helps.
October 26, 2012 at 5:08 pm
So chic !

October 26, 2012 at 5:23 pm
I like these outfits but I REALLY LOVE the picture in the middle!!
October 26, 2012 at 5:25 pm
These women pull off this look incredibly. Have you ever seen a guy pull off baggy khakis? Curious to see.
Thanks for all you do.
October 26, 2012 at 5:27 pm
we absolutely love these pics; we absolutely love face and oufit of woman in the middle. Her collar is so cool!!

I really really like the style of the girl in the first picture!
October 26, 2012 at 5:45 pm
The feather necklace is too much. I don’t like a lot this baggy pants, but i like this trend
October 26, 2012 at 5:57 pm
The leopard print slippers on the 3rd outfit add a great accent to the outfit, very pictures!
October 26, 2012 at 6:02 pm
Lovely photos and style!
October 26, 2012 at 6:04 pm
Oh I am but they would not work on me. I wish!

October 26, 2012 at 6:35 pm
a challenge to femininity, so intriguing (to be used only when you are very sure of himself)
October 26, 2012 at 7:00 pm
I like the style of the three photos, but do not stay baggy pants of any body .
October 26, 2012 at 7:21 pm
I, personally, have a pair. But I’m not too fond the outfits pictured. Too plain and safe. Need to needs some statement pieces to add some edge and make it interesting.
October 26, 2012 at 7:39 pm
The first pictures is amazing!!!
October 26, 2012 at 8:09 pm
Well, I wasn’t thinking about khaki’s, but I am now! All of the looks are so fresh and wonderful.
October 26, 2012 at 8:33 pm
Baggy khakis are ALWAYS chic!

love this style!
October 27, 2012 at 2:20 am

Inspirational. Dug my old khakis out today (not quite as baggy, but close) and just loved wearing them.
October 27, 2012 at 5:13 am
Baggy is the only option for khakis, the look in the third photo is perfection
October 27, 2012 at 6:09 am
love it! adore this kind of pants and simply feeling great inside of them!

October 27, 2012 at 8:47 am

October 27, 2012 at 10:24 am
This post makes me sigh. Just last week i’ve torn my baggy khakis which brought me through “summer” (Germany) with flats or heels, tanks or blouses but always with a cool belt.
October 27, 2012 at 2:51 pm
YES! think about them EVERY day. thank you!

I love your photos!
October 27, 2012 at 8:08 pm
Totally digging the girl on the far right. Love her attitude!
October 27, 2012 at 8:22 pm
Oooh! Yes! I have a too-big pair of Gap khakis (everything at the Gap fits two sizes larger then average…what gives!?) and now I know what to do with them. Awesome.
October 27, 2012 at 9:16 pm
Love them, have many. What’s next? Love Chicago.
October 27, 2012 at 10:59 pm
Nope. The combination of stiff fabric and baggy cut does nothing for the girls pictured. Clothes need to fit the figure (somewhere) or suggest the figure, these do neither.
October 28, 2012 at 2:37 am
love the last look!

Love this looks, I used to have a pair from Levi’s in the 90′s! Wish I still had them, or they still made them!
October 28, 2012 at 9:26 am
these ladies sure can pull l it off.
October 28, 2012 at 10:32 am
Love the third look; its effortless chic!
October 28, 2012 at 12:07 pm
Beautiful pants, and I love their style!
October 28, 2012 at 12:27 pm
I’ve never been a fan of khakis, but I doubt you could make any of these ladies look bad.
October 28, 2012 at 2:41 pm
I would wear that third outfit to death! <3
October 28, 2012 at 2:48 pm
I adore baggy khakis on a woman – It’s such a chic, comfortable, casual look.
October 28, 2012 at 4:45 pm
Any suggestions on where to get the pants on the two ladies with short hair?
October 28, 2012 at 6:48 pm
I’ve been a huge fan of baggy khakis for a long time. It’s the best summer staple, not just for the hike in Yosemite. Can be easily dressed up with a smart shirt or blazer, or the classic combination with stripes. Love all three pictures. Have them all already in my “Sartorialist Inspiration Folder” :)

I really like the style of Eva and Alessandra, who really infuse their own personlity into daily style, and look totally different people with eah photo you post.
Been a long time without seeing them @ your blog.
It’s really nice you pick their old phots into “If you are thinking about…”
October 29, 2012 at 4:07 am
Boyish styles… I love them!
October 29, 2012 at 7:12 am
This is so perfect! Definitely a staple for both formal & leisure (:
October 29, 2012 at 8:43 am
Loving the middle picture. I like the fur collar. Wish I could carry off cropped hair.
October 29, 2012 at 2:46 pm
These baggy khaki’s look ridiculously fun and comfy – I need a pair!

I love the look in the middle. I like how the feathery neck peice emphasizes the collar, and the collar makes feathers look fresh again.

The outfit on the right is so beautifully put together, and her haircut is perfect for the look! It makes me happy to look at this photo. I wish I could find baggy khakis like hers!
October 31, 2012 at 1:23 am
The girl is the middle reminds me Audrey Hepburn. So pretty!
November 2, 2012 at 11:59 am
Love baggy khakis! It’s an easy look.
November 4, 2012 at 4:09 am
love the look on the left, baggy pants, earth tones.. very Armani in the 90′s
November 14, 2012 at 11:33 pm
This is a great look.
I was recently thinking how tired I was of skinny jeans and wondering about alternatives…
