The scarf in the middle looks fantastic!

Before coming to the event, I thought Bastian’s clothes were decent (having only seen them on the web), but afterwards, I left respecting and LOVING his collection.
This mainly had to do with hearing his thought process, especially when he spoke about his line “NY Poets” and all the special touches he put into the clothes- ‘inside-out’ sweaters and the backward phrases (I LOVED THAT). And his remark about being inspired by the clothes in Jaws caught me by surprise and I actually left that night and rented it. And he’s right, I can see the obvious connection.
By the end of the evening I was so impressed that when I went to speak to you and him (you were with your daughters and I think I mumbled a thanks from the front row), I became a bumbling idiot and didn’t know what to say, haha. But I would like to say now that I think these events are an assest to the fashion community in meeting the designers and once I save up enough duckets, Bastian’s line will be the first on my list! Thanks again Scott!

I think these guys knew you were coming and wore scarves just for you. Nice photos.

I’ll bet they did wear their scarves for you! The guy in the tweed and jeans, on the right, is that a fur scarf!? He looks fabulous! (The guy on the left is not too shabby either.) And they also look great together. I want to know what was in their shopping bags.

I love theguy with the scarf…Reminded me of the scarfs the blonde guy in The Devil Wears Prada was wearing but much sportier…byt the way, I asked my gf JAckie what she thought about the scarf on men and she replied ” too Oxford – not for me”. SO is it really too Oxford?

I don’t know about Oxford, sandman, but that first scarf is looking rather Hogwarts to me. Gryffindor, I think?

The great thing about design is how you can incorporate a dead end into your work. It winds up helping to clarify where you want to go, your new destination being some place you couldn’t get to if you hadn’t failed and restarted. It’s just difficult to learn to honor and love the stillborns all the same.

Fantastic event. I’m glad I had the opportunity to attend. Judging by the comments, it sounds like you could also start a dating service.
Keep up the great work.
